To begin with they showed up on time explained what they were going to do and followed up with me after the task was completed during this time. "Fantastic! He was the first contractor to contact me and he was by far the lowest cost. I had about 120’ of sidewalk and a couple 9’x12’ slabs to replace. Existing was poured in the early 1900’s. 3x thicker than what I think he expected along with several granite slabs I had for stairs. Andy and his guys still made quick work of it. The elevation of my existing walkway was awful. Standing water and an ice rink in the middle. I know he used 3x more fill than he expected to make it right. Laying out the new walkway he had some design suggestions that my wife loved. Again I know it was more work than he initially expected. The finished work and cleanup was great. Some contractors have an upcharge for every little thing. He stood by his quote. Being a contractor ,of a different trade myself, I could not in good conscience not pay him a little more. I still paid hundreds less than the next closest ESTIMATE. I couldn’t be happier and I will have him back in the spring to replace the other side of the house. Well done Andy and crew."

"Awful. This job was half-assed, I just got home to this crap. I was not called in advance as your quote person had informed me. I was very clear that I need t know when it would be done to survise. He said I would be called ahead of time to let me know when there is a job near me and they would come afterward. I paid almost 8,000 dollars to have that patch broken into to install a sewage cleanout!!!!! THESE PEOPLE CAME TO MY HOUSE WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME AND COVERED THE SEWAGE CLEAN OUT WITH ALPHALT!!!!!!!!!!!! Then they came back and the pictures is the final work, beautiful ****."

"Sign contract April 4th 2025 was told would take two to three weeks this job was removing pressure treated and replacing with composite material we picked out samples from local building material outlet and showed so-called supervisor what we wanted was told he would be ordering them funny thing where we got the samples all items were in stock at least a week delay items had to be special ordered what we were told another special order for the railings another week delay called or message several times to correct mistakes July 4th is just around the corner job is still not complete"

"I used this company for a number of years and the overall service is no longer the same. I had them over to clean my gutters and I witnessed ladders slamming against the side of my house and they tore one of the edges from the corner of my roof with their step ladder. I will not use them going forward."

"We received an initial quote from Harris & Co. based on a recommendation from a coworker to replace a backyard deck with a stone patio. I received three quotes from various contractors. Harris's quote was the most expensive but I went with Joshua Harris's company anyway for the following reasons: * Joshua had a complete treatment that included landscaping (which ultimately I did not do), pavers, lowering of the ground, demolition, fire pit, and seating wall. * They were responsive, using text and email and replying promptly. * Joshua Harris had a better vision for the project than I did! He envisioned a wall, lighting, making the patio extremely large (due to the limited space in the backyard, he thought that leaving a bit of grass would be pretty pointless). Ultimately, it was the completeness of the vision that drew me to use his service. Since he does landscaping, lighting, and tons of stuff, Joshua will give you a pretty complete treatment. This costs you. I think that you get what you pay for, but it's something to keep in mind. If you have a budget, keep your discipline and see what aspects that you can go without! That all said, we went all out for this project and added a long wall, accent pavers, a large fire pit, and lighting. This was an extremely expensive project for us, but it's been worth it as the end result is rather beautiful and makes the space much more usable. Before, we wouldn't even leave out the back door because the deck was so small and the yard was so dreary, but the large 28' stone patio makes the space inviting and easy to walk across, even when we're not entertaining. As for the work, I was impressed by the amount of communication that was provided. They contacted me almost every day to let me know if they were going to arrive to work and informed me if circumstances (usually rain, sometimes illness) affected the schedule. Joshua was overall very professional. There were occasionally circumstances though that affected what could be done at any point - for example a certain model of lamp I requested wasn't available, so I had to get a different one; in another case one of the bulbs burned out and I had to reach out to get it replaced. The final thing is that Joshua follows through. The mulch for the back was delayed due to an inventory issue and I hadn't heard from him after the work for a number of weeks, but then he called me when the items came back in and scheduled the follow-up. The point is: if you need something from him, don't be afraid to reach out. The work was quite costly but I think that you get what you pay for and when you go with Harris & Co., you get a lot."
