"Al came out initially on time (early actually!) was exceptionally professional and gave a tiered quote on work that "needs" to be done and "could" be done with fair pricing. We scheduled the work for a later date and Al returned and did a fantastic job! He was punctual (again) and efficient-completing all the agreed upon work in a timely manner. He also plugged a hole in the back of our fireplace we didn't know about until we removed the wood burning stove and filled extra cracks on the chimney after capping it. I would definitely hire him again and have even referred him to some friends and relatives... 5+ stars from a very happy customer!"

"I heat my house with a wood stove and the coldest day in February, I saw my single wall pipe was rusty and sparks flying through these tiny holes. My previous chimney guy did not suggest double wall piping, I did not even know if was available. The owner ( I love supporting family owned businesses) Dan and his Dad showed up within hours. I was so grateful they showed up that day. They did a complete inspection to assure I was safe. They made recommendations on how to keep the stove safe, they ordered a stainless steel vent to prevent air going up the chimney. They put in a temporary steel pipe to get so I could light fires and ordered custom a duravent double wall piping. Ryan, what a great employee, really put me at ease. He showed a couple days later with custom parts He installed the stainless steel vent, and the double wall pipe. Before he left he started a fire so I felt safe. Both visits they rolled down a paper carpet they brought as to leave no trails, they even wore booties. I highly recommend Advanced Chimney. I am so glad to have found a chimney company I can trust. "A very bad prolonged wind storm did major damage to many houses in the area. Many homes had roof damage, including our two roofs. More work than there was contractors to repair them. We were not in the area at the time, nor knew any contractors in the area to repair our roofs. During major catastrophes, you have to be careful not to be con'd by unqualified con artist looking to take your money, so we chose Angie's List for a contractor. We chose Excel (Mike) to repair our roofs. He is licenses and insured and his quote was the lowest of all the quotes we received. Even though he was extremely busy with all the work that was out there, he found time on the weekend to repair our roofs. We signed a standard service contract and Mike started the job as promised. The roofs came out awesome, Mike and his crew did an awesome job !! And they did it all while trying to fix everyone else's roofs. Not knowing where to turn to during this major weather event, and being out of town, it was nice to know that you can trust Angie's List to provide qualified people. You can also trust Excel to do a great job at a great price and be confident when you give them a deposit, they can be trusted. The entire transaction was done long distance without ever meeting each other. It was mutual trust based on reviews and being qualified to be on Angie's List.
