They had to dig up my old broken and cracked concrete patio and ac pad without the use of machinery (old fashion hard labor) move the stones that make up my entire backyard (what we call a Arizona yard-no grass) to lay the stone pavers for the walkway and remove the concrete from the front walkway (again all hard labor).
