"They were very professional, arrived on time daily and got the job done when they said it would be! They were very pleasant and easy to work with. Even after the job was done we had an issue and they quickly returned and resolved it in no time! Would definitely recommend!"

"This was a job that was initially expected to take a few days, that dragged on for months. I have to say, he didn't charge me any extra for the longer amount of time, but I have since heard from another contractor he would have done the job for half the price. John was upfront about price, and that goes a long way in my book. I would use John again, and would recommend him, but I would get more quotes before beginning such a large job, and get a firmer time table."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

Pool water—or rather, the chlorine in pool water—generally doesn’t damage artificial grass. This type of grass is made from plastic fibers that are incredibly resilient. That said, you can damage artificial grass around a pool in other ways. For example, the sun’s reflection off a window or fence can melt polyethylene fibers. A temporary pool can flatten and cause an indent in turf.

You don’t need to dilute the baking soda before adding it to your pool. While you can if you want, adding too much water into your pool can throw off your math and chemicals. Your pool’s circulation system will do most of the dissolving work for you, so it’s OK to skip the dilution.

Hire a licensed pool contractor in your area with ample experience in your particular pool design. Pool contractors will walk you through both the design and installation process. They will also recommend or hire a team of subcontractors to manage clearing the land, excavating for the pool, and adding all the design and electrical touches that make your pool run smoothly.

You can use a plunge pool any time of the year, including winter. Be sure to install a pool heater if you plan to take a dip in the plunge pool when temperatures are low to avoid risk of hypothermia. You will also want to add a sturdy pool cover to protect the pool from snow, sleet, and rain during the winter months.

There are many factors to consider when building an in-ground concrete pool. This includes the pool’s primary purpose (relaxation or exercise) if you live in a warm or cold climate (how often it’ll be used), and if you have the budget for chemical treatments and pool maintenance. In-ground pools are often more costly than aboveground pools, but they’re considered more luxurious and hold more value.
