Hello! My name is Erica. I'm the designer behind House of Moon LLC. I've been in the construction industry for 15 years and decided to start my own design firm in 2019. I went to college for architecture. There I learned AutoCAD and that's where I fell in love with design. For the past few years, I've been crafting homes across New England, based out of Connecticut. I specialize in layout design, creating spaces that are both functional and beautiful. I love using mood boards and renderings to bring ideas to life. Plus, I know the best spots to shop for your space. Each project is like a blank canvas to me. Whether it's a home or a business place, I want to make spaces that really work for you and look great too. Want to see if we're a good fit? Checkout my in person projects on my website at houseofmoon.co

Our vision is to bring architecture to everyone. We want the renovations of our homes and businesses to be easy, personal, and accessible. Design should bring value while reflecting the complexity of our lives. As a new service from Bright Architecture, Sixthirty provides affordable, custom design packages that brings personal and professional architecture services to small residential and commercial renovations. The design packages are priced per room, per shop, per floor area and broken out into a menu of separate design phases. By using 3D BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology, proprietary internal design processes, focusing on the customer, and leveraging our industry experience, Sixthirty re-conceives architecture as an affordable catalog of professional services with design, documentation, and project assistance packages.

"We loved working with Holly and the team at SixThirty so much that we hugely increased the scope of our work. First we just wanted a bathroom and a kitchen updated but we loved the plans and the possibility they brought to our space so much that we got designs for every space. Any renovation becomes a drag, but working with Holly and the team was very satisfying and filled us with ideas for our new space. She and her colleagues, especially Michael and Amy, were great, even though we had a million questions and wanted to know "why" for every decision. I can't recommend this service enough, especially for the ability to try out design in a small space and then get addicted and want to do more!"

With knowledge, experience, and hard work, Gary Gesualdo has spent twenty four years providing designers and trade clients with exceptional workroom services. Located on 306 Main Street in East Greenwich, RI, East Coast Designs’ store front offers products for all residential and commercial spaces. Privately owned and managed by Gary, East Coast Designs sets itself apart by selling the complete Hunter Douglas Line of window treatments, including the Alustra Collection, as well as the economy lines that you will assist your sales to the price conscious client. The Hunter Douglas Collection is not offered online or at large box stores (Home Depot, Lowes, etc.), and is only sold to certified, local dealers. We at East Coast Designs make a conscious effort to use drop cloths, and take our shoes off in client’s home. Rest assured, we will not put our tools on any furniture so that we do not damage it in any way. We do not solicit to the client, give out phone numbers, or have any advertisement on our vehicles. We are also all licensed and insured. Normal procedure for a project is for you to make initial contact with the client, which includes taking rough field dimensions. Then you must obtain all of the important field information (number of windows, fabric chosen, details concerning the fabric, verification of availability of fabric, and reserving proper yardages of that fabric). East Coast Designs will then prepare a quote (usually takes 1-2 days), and submit it to the proper channels. Upon approval of the quote, a deposit will need to be received to convert this to an order, and a site visit will be scheduled (within 3-5 days) to verify final dimensions, and any final concerns that the designer or client may have. Drapery fabrication takes approximately 5-7 weeks, and shades and blinds take about 3-4 weeks.

Interior Design and Decorating questions, answered by experts

The typical cost of an interior designer is around $8,000, but you might spend as low as $200 or as much as $65,000, depending on the size of your home, the services you want, and the quality of the decor. Your price for interior decoration will always increase with home size, as more square footage requires more materials and labor. Your price will also be higher if you want your decorator to choose and purchase materials in addition to arranging them in your home. Higher quality furniture and decor will also drive up your cost.

Part of the beauty of academia decor is that most textures and materials will feel right at home, provided they’re dark. Some common textures include natural wood, dark metals like iron, velvet, and leather. Incorporating these into your dark academia decor will make them look right at home. Glass is another option in some cases, so fill in gaps in your decor with small glass jars, or really lean on the gothic roots of dark academia with stained glass.

The cost to hire an interior designer is $8,170 on average. You could pay as low as $200 for a small project that doesn’t take more than an hour or as much as $65,000 for a whole-home design project.

Since residential interior designers mostly charge by the hour, you can expect to pay between $50 and $200 per hour. However, if your designer is in a high-cost area, you could spend up to $500 per hour. These prices do not include material costs, which, depending on what you add to your home, could be costly.

An in-law suite is a private living area on or attached to a single-family home that acts as separate living quarters for family members. It should include a sleeping area and full bathroom, though most also include a small kitchen or kitchenette and a living area. Larger suites may also have space for an office or laundry room, which can add utility and increase independence for guests and residents.

You won’t find anything inside a cupola on a house because it’s hollow (think of an upside-down cup), allowing air to ventilate out of a roof via vents and light to come in via windows. They also usually have a base, vents around the middle (usually louvers), and a pointed cap at the top.
