"I contacted Adem at AAC Heating and Cooling on a Saturday in early June and scheduled an appointment with him to arrive a few days later. Adem arrived exactly when I expected him to. He reviewed our old oil boiler and domestic hot water heater and suggested that we install a combination unit and quoted us a price of $6,300 for the equipment and installation. I contacted a few other companies and only received one other quote (the quote was for two separate heaters and when I asked them several times to revise it to a combination unit similar to the one Adem had specified I got no response). 
I scheduled an installation date with Adem and he arrived with his helper exactly when I expected him to. Within minutes the equipment was delivered and work began to remove the old units. By late afternoon, the new unit was installed but there was a problem with a particular sensor (needed for safety). Adem remained at the unit troubleshooting the system and insisted that he did not want to leave us without hot water. I suggested we call it a day by 8:00 PM and assured him we could make due until the next day. Adem reluctantly left, taking with him all of the control instructions to study overnight.
Adem arrived first thing the next morning, began a fresh troubleshooting routine, discovered the problem with the sensor, reprogrammed the controller and spent the next couple of hours making sure the unit operated perfectly. When Adem left, the work area was clean. Before he left, Adem also took the time to be certain that I understood how the system operated (explaining all of the safety features and isolation valves, etc., in case there were any need to shut it down in an emergency).
Note: The old units, some short lengths of exhaust ducts, and the oil tank in the basement were left behind. The oil tank was full and Adem stated that when I am able to drain out the old oil (I am donating the oil to be provided to some nearby families in need through a local church) he will send an associate to remove the heaters and tank for reclamation.
Overall, I was impressed by Adem's work and his work ethic. I would recommend him for similar work and I would certainly call on him again.

"Person who visited was very polite and noted that what I purchased was likely not something that would meet my expectations.  I wanted an energy audit, how my systems could be improved in home, lighting, heating, insulation and air conditioners.  What I got was a list of things they could work on and the price to do that work.  The work list in no way was considered an energy audit, rather it was a punch list of things I could do based on their visual inspection.  I did not have a comparison of work and benefit/savings calculation.  There was no checklist of inefficiencies and how that translated into energy losses. For example, multiple hi hat lights in house, they spoke about boxing and insulating a few, less than 10, when I have almost 90 in house.  Overall I was disappointed, the tech who came said the offering needed to be better presented prior to start of work."
