"I had purchased the paint and he painted my bedroom.  He had someone with him and they finished the job in one day.  I had moved a lot of the furniture ahead of time but they helped me move larger objects and helped me move them back.  They were clean and the room looks great.  They went through and touched up the woodwork for me while they were here."

It is less costly to paint than wallpaper when you only consider the upfront cost. Wallpaper costs $320 to $820 when applied by a pro, while paint only costs $200 to $700 per room. If you can already see the texture of the existing wallpaper through the layer of paint, then the texture could also come through the new layer of wallpaper. If you prefer peel-and-stick to traditional wallpaper, you can skip the priming process.
