"Please see attached pictures of the work that was done. This has been the worst and most painful experience in my life ever. Mr. Gilberto Mora from Personal Painting is a one man business. He recently hired two inexperienced men to assist with minor details and not the actual paint or spackle job. Basically, they run back and forth to his truck to get supplies for him which is annoying because the door slams constantly and my AC is on. It took him over a month to do the job and he showed up a few hours at a time on four different occasions. He kept rescheduling me because he had bigger paying jobs than mine. He would show up at my house when it rained. He told me he could squeeze me in-between because he is presently painting the outside of homes and can’t paint them in the rain. Here are the end results of the nightmare. He failed to put on a second coat of paint as contracted in three rooms, failed to give me a receipt for services, failed to smooth out many imperfections from wet sanding, failed to paint my exterior door frame which I supplied him with the paint prior to and he has failed to return my paint. Also, he cleaned his paint supplies in my sink. I have a septic tank so this is never a good thing because the latex in the paint can cause serious damage which he was unaware of. I told him to clean his tools outside but he did not want to comply with my wish. Told me to get an engineer to check my tank out for damage in a smart- alec way. I have already paid him in full in cash for the services and he failed to complete the job and decided to stop responding to me via text which is his form of communication, I saved all of our texts though. He is a GOOD example of over promising and not delivering. Now I have to pay someone else to complete the POOR workmanship and the incomplete work. I will be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau & Consumer Affairs next. I am expecting a refund of my money and compensation for my Benjamin Moore paint that he stoled."

"I regret giving over $80k to this contractor. Jim, Chase and all others did shotty work in my home and now their work needs to be redone by a professional. Even after things stopped working I called them back and no one came out or contacted me to fix it. My window frames and baseboards were installed improperly as well as my electrical. My flooring is lifting and new stairs installed weren’t even nailed in properly, my husband nearly broke his hip on the stairs. I wish I could take it all back and never would’ve trust them."

The results were outstanding - after cleaning outside and inside, they inspected from inside and touched up a few spots on the outside of the second-story windows. "Did not show up as scheduled. Offered to match paint and brought the wrong paint to the job. Did not respond when notified - then said they were not responsible if the paint they selected matched - that was my responsibility!. Had to pay more to get the part that "showed" repainted in the right color. Crew changed day by day. Specified 2 coats sprayed, but did some brushing and applied only one coat in places. There main motivation seem to be do what was most expeditious/profitable for them. Left strong impression my job was a "fill in" and more of an aggravation than a solicited service. Job superintendent was barely aware of field crew progress. On-site supervisor spoke broken English. Finally got the right front door, and finished painting the garage doors and front door with two coats on a cool day without proper time to dry between. Paint on front door ended up not curing well."

"I asked Kerry to update a small half-bath off of our den. We wanted to replace the sink, remove old wallpaper, remove a medicine cabinet and update the lighting. Sounded rather dull and routine to me. To my delight, Kerry was full of ideas to make the project interesting and fun! Her suggestion was to put in vessel sink (it looks beautiful!) with a pendant light above it. Old wallpapered walls were smoothed and painted (also beautiful). Another idea of hers .... wallpaper the ceiling. Who knew? Looks amazing. Her work is excellent .... but her ideas are priceless."
