"Please see attached pictures of the work that was done. This has been the worst and most painful experience in my life ever. Mr. Gilberto Mora from Personal Painting is a one man business. He recently hired two inexperienced men to assist with minor details and not the actual paint or spackle job. Basically, they run back and forth to his truck to get supplies for him which is annoying because the door slams constantly and my AC is on. It took him over a month to do the job and he showed up a few hours at a time on four different occasions. He kept rescheduling me because he had bigger paying jobs than mine. He would show up at my house when it rained. He told me he could squeeze me in-between because he is presently painting the outside of homes and can’t paint them in the rain. Here are the end results of the nightmare. He failed to put on a second coat of paint as contracted in three rooms, failed to give me a receipt for services, failed to smooth out many imperfections from wet sanding, failed to paint my exterior door frame which I supplied him with the paint prior to and he has failed to return my paint. Also, he cleaned his paint supplies in my sink. I have a septic tank so this is never a good thing because the latex in the paint can cause serious damage which he was unaware of. I told him to clean his tools outside but he did not want to comply with my wish. Told me to get an engineer to check my tank out for damage in a smart- alec way. I have already paid him in full in cash for the services and he failed to complete the job and decided to stop responding to me via text which is his form of communication, I saved all of our texts though. He is a GOOD example of over promising and not delivering. Now I have to pay someone else to complete the POOR workmanship and the incomplete work. I will be reaching out to the Better Business Bureau & Consumer Affairs next. I am expecting a refund of my money and compensation for my Benjamin Moore paint that he stoled."

I have a hard time with color choices so i left it up to the to them, they are the professionals and they did not disappoint. My mother used A.B.E. for her remodel jobs and painting as well. "We hired Jewels to spackle and repair all of our walls on the 2nd floor in our 1900s farmhouse. The old plaster was cracking and starting to crumble in multiple spots. Plus my husband and I built closets and added a bunch of holes in the wall to move the electric inside the walls and added ceiling lights. Not only did Jewels do an outstanding job repairing it all he made it look brand new again. He also, gave us very helpful in tips on what kind of prep work we could to do save some money. And tips with other and future projects we have going on in the house as well. He really went above and beyond! And as first time DIYer was his tips and suggestions were extremely helpful! We hired him on for a second project in our closed in back porch that we turned into 1st floor full bathroom and mudroom. He did an outstanding job once again with those rooms as well. He was on time and very professional throughout the whole process. And was able to get the jobs done quickly! "Did not show up as scheduled. Offered to match paint and brought the wrong paint to the job. Did not respond when notified - then said they were not responsible if the paint they selected matched - that was my responsibility!. Had to pay more to get the part that "showed" repainted in the right color. Crew changed day by day. Specified 2 coats sprayed, but did some brushing and applied only one coat in places. There main motivation seem to be do what was most expeditious/profitable for them. Left strong impression my job was a "fill in" and more of an aggravation than a solicited service. Job superintendent was barely aware of field crew progress. On-site supervisor spoke broken English. Finally got the right front door, and finished painting the garage doors and front door with two coats on a cool day without proper time to dry between. Paint on front door ended up not curing well."
