"I needed a new roof to satisfy the Insurance company (my existing roof was 28 years old). Called Home Run Roofing at 5pm on Monday, scheduled the rep for the next morning. Thorough inspection of all roofing components, discussed price, color etc. They happened to have a cancellation on Friday (today). The work crew arrived and quickly dispatched the old roof, had the barriers in place, ridge vent installed shingles placed and total cleanup of the site by just after 2pm. Amazing! This was a great experience with Home Run roofing from start to finish. I will be working with them again to replace my windows for sure! The roof is beautiful!"

"I had an emergency on April 1st 2017 with my electric hot water heater started leaking all over my mud room floor and I didn't know what to do or who to call worrying about the cost of fraud and scams, I panic. I went on the computer to find out how to shut it off I was instructed to turn off the electric to the tank and the hot water value on top. Now! I had very cold water that I had to heat up on top of my kitchen stove. I kept searching the internet for a plumber but couldn't get one. I went to HomeAdvisor site on April 20,2017 and requested emergency help with my hot water heater. They found a hot water heater Pro in Tobyhanna, PA and called them to call me immediately a Mark called from Quality Home Improvement Services and verified that he got a call from HomeAdvisor about my hot water heater problem and he is in the area and he can come and check it out right away. Mark came and estimated the problem and told me I needed a new electric hot water heater the released value was cracked inside the tank. Mark gave me a reasonable price of all that had to be done and would do it the same day or the next day, I agreed. On April 21,2017 Quality Home Improvement crew of two men came with my new electric hot water heater, removed the old one and installed the new one without any problems in one hour. When you have a leaking hot water heater you don't if you need a plumber or a electrician I was sent one of each, John the plumber and Tucker the electrician. I am very pleased and happy with the quality of work, very professional, courteous and the result is outstanding. As a home owner over 23 years I have not had a hot water heater that when you turn on the hot water faucets you got hot water that scald you if you didn't mix it with cold water and that's the hot water heater Quality Home Improvement Services installed for me. I will use their services again, they do what they promises and being on a fixed income they cared for me as if I was one of their family members. Bless you Mark, John and Tucker. Call Quality Home Improvement Services and learn how you can save."

Eifs Installers questions, answered by experts

To find and hire a reputable contractor for an egress window installation, you should first research local professionals and then vet your top candidates. Start by searching for local contractors who specialize in this type of work, read their customer reviews, and examine their website and portfolio. Once you have a shortlist, contact them to ask key questions: Are you licensed and insured? What is your specific experience installing egress windows? Can you provide references from previous customers? Do you perform the work yourself or use subcontractors? What is the estimated project timeline and your current schedule? How do you handle payment?

The cost to install a bow window can range from $1,500 to $15,000, with a national average of $3,900. The total price includes materials, which can cost between $1,200 and over $14,000, and labor, which typically adds $300 to $1,900. Several factors influence the final cost, including the window's size and frame material. For example, vinyl frames are the most budget-friendly option, while wood frames are more expensive. Custom features or energy-efficient upgrades will also increase the price. For comparison, a bay window installation typically costs between $1,000 and $7,000.

A good U-factor for windows is 0.30 or lower, but they can range from 0.20 to 1.20. A general rule of thumb when it comes to the U-factor is that the lower, the better.

The entire window replacement process, from the initial consultation to the final installation, typically takes between four and 15 weeks. This timeline accounts for measuring appointments, ordering, and manufacturing. On the day of the job, the physical installation takes about 30 minutes to two hours per window. A full-house replacement can take one to three days to complete. Factors that can extend this timeline include the total number of windows, custom sizes, complex window types, second-story installations, and any necessary repairs to existing window frames or openings.

Yes, with modifications or the use of adapter kits for tricky placements.
