In addition to the roof, he took on a gutter replacement and our shaker siding replacement. He looked for siding materials and dropped off samples to help me decide on the color. While bleach can be effective in killing mold, it may not fully remove mold stains from siding. Additionally, bleach can be harsh and may damage certain types of siding. Composite siding has excellent insulative properties and one of the highest R-values of siding materials available. Instead of pressure washing, you can clean it with a soft brush or broom to remove loose debris, followed by a mixture of mild soap and water applied with a soft cloth or sponge.
