"I am an extremely dissatisfied customer.This job has too many mistakes to go into them all.They were willing to repair a few of them like siding coming off,nail under siding and trimming off some J channel.They were not willing to even admit to other mistakes such as uneven corners,siding that doesn’t match on both sides of windows, siding that is not level or cut short or missing above window.As for the roof I found out it’s cut short,seals were missing and rake edges are installed improperly.This job is a total failure (beware of looks good from road) I decided to trust this guy from the start.What a mistake that was.He told he was rated #5 on Angie’s list and I didn’t check till after he trashed my house. I couldn’t find any rating for him although their were some reviews.He had good reviews but last 2 were in 2015 and not good at all."

Yes, you should consider power washing your home’s exterior before painting. This method can remove dirt, grime, and loose paint in a quick, efficient way. Wait three or four days after washing to paint, as it’s best to paint on a clean, dry surface. 

Soft washing might be a better option if your home’s exterior is vinyl or stucco. Before you start, make sure you know what parts of a house you can pressure wash (and those you can’t).

If pressure washers are stored in freezing conditions and aren’t pretreated for such temps, any liquid remaining in the water pump may freeze, expand, and severely damage your machine. While often recommended, emptying the machine with compressed air is a long and tedious process and still may not completely drain the liquid in this pressure washer part. But adding a bit of antifreeze instead will keep it in tip-top shape without the extra effort.

You should always power wash your driveway before applying a sealant. At any given time, your driveway could be covered with algae and moss, tire residue, oil and rust stains, and any combination of leaves, twigs, and dirt. If you skip power washing, you’ll be trapping the dirt and grime beneath the sealant and lowering its chance of cementing itself to your driveway.
