"The did the entire job in one day. They came took off old shingles, put down new plywood, and then new shingles. We have a ranch home about 1700 square feet. They draped the area and cleaned up everything . They did an outstanding job, in and out in one day!!!! And, the next day we had a snowstorm . They came when they said they would and the price was so reasonable!"

No, you should not close or cover your gable vents in the winter. While it might seem logical to block cold air, heating your home creates hot air that rises and can cause condensation in the attic.
