"This is the second time that I have used Brandon Electric. Although they are not the cheapest, their work is first rate. For this project, Jamal and Rob installed recessed ceiling lights (living room and first floor stairwell), upgraded/replaced numerous outlets and switches, and installed a bathroom fan and lighting fixture. I was contacted the same day and was able to setup a consultation with Brad (owner) the same day as my inquiry. During the consultation, we discussed the work that was needed and I was provided a quote on site. The price quoted was lower than other companies and other handymen I had spoken with. Scheduling was simple and he was able to come the next day after I gave him approval on the quote. They showed up ready to work and explained exactly how they were going to complete the work (recessed lighting, cable, TV Mount, chandelier). The recessed lighting they chose was great too and has a great effect when the dimmer is down. He asked a few questions during the installation to ensure he was completing the job as expected. Once the work was complete, they cleaned the rooms where the work was done and it was practically cleaner than before they started. Everything was completed in under a day. Not only was the work great, but I was also re-assured that the owner of the company was doing the work. With his name on the line, I knew he would stand by his work."

"Mike installed a ceiling fan, after taking down an existing ceiling box and putting up a fan-rated one, all within an hour as he promised. He was knowledgeable, professional, punctual (came early, which is rare), and his expertise was obvious. My only (mild) dissatisfaction was that he charged a few dollars extra than market value for the ceiling box part he provided after he explained that the ones I had were not going to work. I understand that this is common as he is providing the part on the spot. I would hire him without any hesitation for future jobs.

Here is an advice for anyone looking for help installing a ceiling fan. It's a heavy item and could be huge safety hazard if not done properly and with the right parts. Before Mike, I had contacted a handyman with good reviews here, and he thought the box I had was good enough for hanging a fan, and was charging me double what Mike did. He was obviously wrong. I had luckily done some research of my own by then, so I didn't get the handyman to do it as I had doubts. Please get a good electrician for such jobs."
