"The first salesman says one thing, the second salesman says another, the foreman says another, and the managers yet another.. They wouldn’t let me talk to the sales guy after we signed—RED FLAG. Really, for $25,000 dollars, I expected more than the runaround, the half-done job that sat for a week, the ignored requests, the foremen that kept changing/getting fired (?), and the stolen $50 extension cord THAT WAS MY ONLY POWER to their fan system.. you would think they would want to protect their work a bit better since we have the extended warranty. They were almost half the price of the other company we were looking at, and now, I’m pretty sure I know why. Probably not the best bang for the buck. But then again, they don’t have to live in my sinking house, so maybe it’s not that big a deal for them. I was less than impressed. They left clay and gravel all over my basement floor and some dirt all over my upstairs floor. We bought them pizza, made them coffee, and they were friendly enough when we talked with them, but we knew that they were scrambling to get jobs done. The salesman said they would provide an electrician if we needed one, but then they never delivered on that.. everyone is booked lately on electrical work, so I have a sump and fan system that currently has no power. I question the integrity and quality of this company. And I still have to get someone to fix my exterior wall because they don’t do that—not their bag, I get that, but it’s annoying. I just wish the job that was done was half as reassuring as the sales presentation."

"Owner showed up with a small crew and a crazy new piece of equipment. Excavated down below my foundation and to the septic tank. Came into the basement and jackhammered the floor. Removed all the old terracotta pipe inside and out. Installed all new PVC pipe all the way down to the septic tank. Put gravel down to protect the new pipe. Poured concrete in the basement to close the floor back up. Only took one day to get the new pipe in. Came back the next to close the ground and floor up. Great experience, basement no longer smell like sewage."

"We had our basement waterproofed by Baker's. It's been bone-dry since. We did have one piece of equipment fail within a month of the installation, but it was a third party dehumidifier that was just a dud I guess, no fault of Baker's. I texted the project manager about it on a Sunday. I expected a response the following week. He got back to me within the hour. The equipment was removed and replaced within a couple days. Everything great since. I would highly recommend Baker's, but specifically our project manager Nathan Goddard and the head guy on site Daylan. Can't remember his last name, but he's got a long beard and did a great job. Thanks to both of them and the rest of the guys."

"I am so happy that my neighbor referred G&J Waterproofing to me! My basement had so much rain water coming in that I had sand bags in one of the rooms to help soak up the water and I still needed to use a mop in other areas! Harry came the next day to meet with me after I called them and went over everything that needed to be done! If I didn’t understand something, Harry took the time to explain it to me! I really appreciated that! And all the workers were GREAT! G&J really have a great group of guys working for them! They were always willing to answer any questions I had! "First of all, I can can do plumbing myself, but it usually involves more than a day or two and multiple trips to one of the big box stores. Since the tub hardware was old and corroded, I didn't want to take a chance of making things worse, so I decided to call in a professional; that the toilet started leaking was a (happy) coincidence for me, so he or she could do that at the same time. I contacted TruPlumbing and Tom was dispatched for the job... he contacted me to set up a time and date for the service call and also gave me a quote and the option to buy my own parts for the job, telling me what was needed, Tom arrived on time and had both jobs completed in a few hours; he was very professional, covered his shoes so as not to track dirt into the house, and explained what all he had done. I would definitely recommend TruPlumbing and will use them in the future."

Bathroom included: removal of vanity, 2 walls of tile, and mosaic tile floor. Installed heated flooring, vanity, ceramic tile, mirror, backsplash. Excellent work from a good crew. This was my second hire of Rose construction."

"Not well. We gave him $7,000 on 6/27. It’s now 8/22 and the job is nowhere close to being done. Sometimes we get texts. He says it will be done on Friday or it will be done on Monday or done on Wednesday or the next Friday. Typically he doesn’t even show up and when he does show up, it’s only for a few minutes and nothing is accomplished."
