Small jobs welcome

"I recently used Rubbish rescue and relief for clean out and I couldn't be happier with the service. From start to finish, they were incredibly professional and efficient. The team arrived right on time and got to work immediately. They handled everything with care, ensuring that no damage was done to my property in the process. What impressed me the most was how quickly they worked. What would have taken me days to accomplish, they completed in just a few hours! They were thorough in making sure every last bit of junk was removed. The pricing was also very reasonable, especially considering the level of service provided. There were no hidden fees or surprises, and the final cost was exactly as quoted. Overall, I recommend them to anyone in need of junk removal services. Their professionalism, efficiency, and fair pricing make them stand out from the rest. I'll definitely be using them again in the future!"

""Maid Service" as the project does not do this job justice.I hired this company last minute and the job they did was incredible. INCREDIBLE. It was a post-move cleaning and unlike before they got there I'm going to get my security deposit back. Honestly, what they did was truly remarkable and even more so at the price they charged. When I'm fully set up at my new place I plan to hire them on the regular. I couldn't recommend them more."

"They did a really good job. They were super professional and made sure to clean as good as they could. It took a bit longer than expected which is why it isn?t a 5 star, but even though it took a bit longer, it looks amazing. Would totally book again"

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

Continuous feed garbage disposals are the favorite model for many homeowners for a reason. As opposed to batch feed models, add food scraps to the drain whenever the disposal is running. This variety is also typically less expensive, more convenient, and easier to clean.

The most common garbage disposal size in the U.S. is 1/2 horsepower. This size is ideal for households with three or fewer people or those that don't produce much food waste. Although 1/2 horsepower can't handle the typical food waste load for a household of four (which is about 250 pounds of food waste annually) as effectively as 3/4 horsepower, it remains the most common size of garbage disposal on the market.

Soil is just one of the items you shouldn't put down a garbage disposal. Garbage disposals are only meant for soft, non-fibrous foods. Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes. If a small amount of dirt goes down the drain as you repot a plant, you shouldn't have to worry, but never dump a whole pot of soil in the sink for fast disposal.

Never put glass in the garbage disposal. It can damage your disposal or eject shards of glass out of the disposal and cause injury. If you get broken glass in your garbage disposal, turn it off and cut the power from the breaker, use a tool like pliers or tongs to remove the glass, and use a wet-dry vacuum to remove the remaining glass pieces. If you can’t access the disposal safely, call a garbage disposal repair pro.

No, you do not need a garbage disposal to have a dishwasher. A dishwasher will work without one, and while it's rare to see a home with a dishwasher that doesn't have a disposal, it is possible. The two appliances pair well and are often installed together because a disposal simplifies meal cleanup.

However, your dishwasher should not be used as a replacement for a garbage disposal. Subjecting it to continuous food leftovers can lead to major clogs. If you choose not to install a garbage disposal, you should thoroughly rinse your plates or scrape excess food into the trash or a compost pile before loading them into the dishwasher to prevent plumbing issues.
