He took the time to visit our apartment and carefully understand the challenges we faced in obtaining the permits. After thoroughly reviewing the space and listening to our renovation ideas, he assured us that the project would be straightforward for him and that he could provide an architectural drawing that would not only meet our needs but also ensure we could pass inspection without any issues. Despite the project being relatively small, Anthony was more than willing to take it on and offered a very reasonable fee for his services. We truly appreciate the time, care, and professionalism he brought to the table. "They truly live by the code of "you get what you paid for". The price was cheaper than expected (and they included a free estimate too). So ultimately, our slow bathtub drain was cleared. However, the technician had terrible housekeeping. After stripping the caulking around the overflow valve, they left the caulking pieces in the bathtub and told us to flush them down the drain (?!). They said the provided bio solution would clear the pieces just fine...but why do that when a trash can is less than a foot away?? Then, they did not offer to reseal the valve they just opened...just left a mess for us to pick up. As such, we will not be using them again next time...free estimate or not. If we wanted the bare minimum, we would have done it ourselves."

"Wally came out and took measurements, and prepared an estimate for us. The price was fair, so we agreed to the contract. There was a minor scheduling hiccup, but it was made right. Wally's crew was professional and efficient. The work was well done, and I couldn't be happier. I would gladly contact Wally & his team for future projects. "Bad Experience. Bait and Switched us. Told us the no more than cost of our removal verbally and then said he needed $4k to do the design with us and get final firm contract after that. I told him I was skeptical giving him $4k and then have him come back with contract stating it would cost a big percent more. He assured me “he is not that kind of guy”. Then after the design and a smaller scope he wanted to charge us 30% more. Took our money and we now have to start over with a new contractor."

"I wouldn’t be writing this Review if one thing would have happened, TALK TO ME. Don’t place the answering service in the position of telling a Customer that the Supervisor has left for the day at 2.45p on a Thursday. Especially when the Horizon repairman had just fried our whole cooling system, including the thermostat!! What started with a bad fan motor in a new AC system that was only 3.5 years old in a $10,000 system, for which we had waited 4 days for the new motor to be installed. Add to that the fact that the repairman told me he would be at our home at 8.30a and didn’t arrive until 11.30a - after having to use a vacation day to wait at home for them to arrive. Then telling me this will be ‘quick’ all I have to do is switch out the motor by mounting it and plugging in the new one. Hours went by, nothing. He comes in to test the thermostat and it is non-responsive. He tells me to get new batteries, which I did. Then asks me, “these are new?” To which I say, ‘of course’ - you watched me take them out of the box. Then he goes out to his truck for the next 1.5hrs, supposedly speaks with his Supervisor and comes in and tells me that he has fried the system. I reply by saying I will be calling a senior person to speak with them. Called 4 times and never spoke with anyone. Each time I waited on hold for an extended period of time. Each time, I was then told by the answering service that someone would call and never did. Then at 2.45p I am told “everyone has left for the day” and no one would be calling. This was a Thursday, I had been home all day and no one would speak with me. We remain without an AC system, no plan, no calls - - nothing!!! If I could rate them a ZERO, I would,"

"Gene tore out the old bathroom and installed everything new. He did the plumbing moves, electrical changes, tiling, and painting. He even built new floor to ceiling shelving. He reconfigured the hanging and shelving in two closets in the primary bedroom. Gene was prompt, organized and diligent. The workmanship is excellent. I would recommend Eugene Field to anyone that needs a general contractor and remodeling work done."
