"Conner and Kevin did an amazing job installing our kitchen floors. They were friendly courteous and very professional. There workmanship and attention to detail were the best I have seen from a residential contractor in a long time. I would highly recommend them for all your flooring needs."

"We have used Prestige for 5 renovation projects in the last 18 months. All were good experiences. Prestige never was the lowest price but we used them because they had done a reasonably nice job on our other projects and they are good about keeping the timeline of your project moving. They do not hold you up which was important to us. But what I found is they are not good when something goes bad. The most recent project had an issue where the stone backsplash for the bath was not cut to allow a center stack of cabinets between the sinks in the bathroom vanity. Our contractor had to leave for a short period of time and when he came back the stone was quickly installed with a one piece backsplash. The drawings and templates all showed a two piece backsplash. The tile we purchased for the same project required 4 boxes and one had a different lot number unbeknownst to us so when the tile installer played out the kitchen backsplash the tile did not match and had to come down. The sales people at the store were terrific and made sure to get the matching tile sent out ASAP and did find a matching lot number to finish the job. But the owner would not make good for the additional charges our contractor charged us for to fix these two major mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes and how we handle them actually builds a stronger bond with customers. The owner chose to adjust the charges a token amount which was an insult. I would at a minimum secure in writing some guarantee that if you run into any issues with the final installation that Prestige will do right and compensate for the additional rework that is required. It is very disappointing to not use someone you thought was a good business partner. I have no axe to grind as my project is complete and the disputed amount is minimal. I simply wish to share my experience (as I told Prestige I would). Good luck on your projects and always treat others as you would like to be treated."

"Everything went excellent. the owner met with us several times to layout the kitchen. He made suggestions and listened to our thoughts. Our thoughts were that he had the experience so we usually went with his suggestions. Things we wanted he worked with us to give us what we wanted. He accommodated us when we made changes. Workers were here when they said they would be. They explained what they were doing and asked questions about what we wanted. They accommodated us when we wanted changes or didn't like the way something was. The workmanship was excellent. We had a problem with the wrong stove being ordered and several minor things that needed to be corrected or change. These things were done in a timely matter. We feel that the workers made sure we were satisfied with everything before they left."

"After 6 years of dirty feet, dirty dogs and general wear and tear, the floor was looking sad. The grout was black not beige!  And the tiles were dingy.  The process only took about 1.5 hours total and was ready to be walked on within a couple of hours.  It looks like brand new now. Very happy with the job!

"

We wanted a complete renovation of our shower in our master bathroom, remove all the existing tile and plumbing fixtures down to the studs. Wayne was very helpful incorporating into the design some unique features and material selection (size and color combinations) for our project. Bathmax was very professional and respectful during the demolishion phase, using drop cloths and protecting the surrounding areas. They were prompt and timely when installing the new shower, keeping us informed on their progress and timeline. Their workmanship and attention to detail is excellent, the finished project exceeded our expectations. Our overall experience with Bathmax was very good.

Ceramic Tile questions, answered by experts

It’s easiest to start from an edge as it gives you a straight line. A problem may arise if your edge doesn’t line up perfectly, in which case it’s best to start from the center. Some think that starting tile from the center adds a focal point in the center of the hearth.

Yes, it’s possible to cut tile without a wet saw; instead, you can use an angle grinder, a glass cutter, a snap cutter, tile nippers, or a rotary tool with a tile-cutting blade. A manual tile cutter or snap cutter works well for the larger tiles that wet saws are typically used for, while smaller projects might just require nippers or a glass cutting wheel. If you’re working with large quantities of tile, however, power tools are best.

Yes, you can tile over existing tiles in a bathroom, but it is not always recommended. For this method to be successful, the original tile surface must be clean, flat, and free of damage such as cracks, unevenness, mold, or mildew. While tiling over existing tiles can save time and money, there are potential drawbacks. The new adhesive may not bond properly, and the process adds extra weight to the wall or floor. Additionally, the increased height of the surface could interfere with door clearances. For the best and most durable results, removing the old tiles before installing new ones is generally the better option.

Pool remodel costs are pricey, so you want to make sure you do it right. The best pool tile for you is one that looks great and fits your budget. If you have your heart set on a particular tile but can’t afford to tile your whole pool in that style, consider tiling only a small area or portion of your pool with specialty tile.

Your tiles will have a significant visual impact on your bathroom, so you’ll want to make a thoughtful decision. Once you land on the tile material that suits your needs and budget, you can consider the color schemes you want. Consider whether you want something modern, classic, or eye-catching.
