G Contracting did a total kitchen renovation for us, and we are completely thrilled with the outcome! Our designer, Lindsey, was great to work with. She was adept at taking our ideas and translating them into the perfect design. Our kitchen is small, so it was important to maximize storage and give a feeling of openness in tight quarters. We were very pleased with the communication at every step of the way with G Contracting. Once we signed on the dotted line, Sasha, our project coordinator, kept us up to date with what would be happening each day, and who would be coming to the house. Being able to call or text Sasha with any questions and getting a quick response made everything go very smoothly. After the demo of the old kitchen, the first task was drywall repairs and ceiling resurfacing on both the kitchen and dining room. We had an old textured ceiling that had water damage-it is absolutely perfect now! They actually came out on a Saturday due to an unforeseen issue earlier in the week that would have thrown off the timeline. Herman and Kirk did much of the installation of our new kitchen, and we really appreciated their attention to detail in every aspect of the renovation. Things were cleaned up at the end of every day. They communicated well with us and made sure everything was done right. G Contracting stuck to the timeline and to the budget, and they made good on all their promises. We would highly recommend them for any home renovation.

A truck demolished our kitchen so the tile needed to be replaced and they were the contractor our general contractor asked for a quote. It was insanely high, 8,000 to remove old tile and replace with $4.50/sq tile budgeted. The room is 19x11...do the math. They sent a landscaper to remove the old tile. We picked out rectified tile that was nearly $2 less a sq ft and they raised the price $500 because they said it was $2 sq ft more for rectified but ignored the fact that that the tile price dropped the same. When I pointed this out to them I was told they were staying at their higher price. They left the thinset on the floor from the demo until I called the GC and then did a lousy job finishing it and ignored the pantry and emptied their shopvac full of thinset on our patio. Needless to say they lost the rest of the job. Between their work on the demo and the attitude I got when I called about the pricing I would not recommend them to tile my shed. We went with another company. I spoke with 2 other contractors and their quotes for the same tile job were over 3,000 less. They bid the job at nearly 100 sq ft over the actual area...I get overage but it is usually 10%, not 30%+, especially with 20' x 20" tile. Stay away. They were paid for the demo grudgingly.

Jim is very professional. We wanted the carpet removed from our living room and replaced with laminate flooring. He explained everything in detail, and called with an installation date and time. Jim and his installer Jonathan were prompt on the day of install. Jonathan is also very professional and a stickler to detail and perfection. The carpet removal, floor prep, sub floor install and laminate install took 6 hours start to finish! We are Very Pleased with the results! Last year we had a total kitchen remodel and wish we would have searched harder and found G Contracting! I would recommend them for any of your needs! They are #1 on our list for any future projects!!!! Thank You Jim & Jonathan!!!

We hired Jonathan’s team to do a major remodeling project, to make our house fully accessible and meet ADA compliance standards. No challenge is too big for these guys! They have decades’ worth of experience. All of the team is highly professional and very skilled in their various areas of expertise. A few of them can do just about anything, but no matter because Jonathan is an excellent contractor. He excels at creating a reliable timeline for the project, plus assigning the right guy for the right task. They’ve been at this long enough that there probably isn’t anything they haven’t yet tackled. Even our very specific situation, of having to make everything in the kitchen, bathroom, and exterior (porch and front walkway) meet the needs of my husband who uses a wheelchair, was no problem for them. In fact, of the several contractors we contacted first, Jonathan was the only one willing to take on the project. We highly recommend him and his entire team. They are super friendly, punctual, courteous, and professional, above all else. They transformed our “vintage” 1972 kitchen into a magnificent, showstopping space that could be featured in a home-decor magazine. They were even extra accommodating around our personal needs, with my husband needing to have back surgery during the project. They graciously worked around our needs, even changing up their work schedules so that he could sleep late on the morning of the surgery and during the days following his hospital stay. They genuinely cared about us as a family and did not see us as just another paycheck. And Jonathan’s designer, Kristal, is fantastic too—and not just her super friendliness and professionalism. She has incredible taste and creativity when it comes to designing any interior space. Aside from being blessed with a natural eye for figuring out what goes with what best, she pours her boundless energy and product knowledge into every project she works on. Kristal is a great listener too and always works with the client to ensure she understands their exact style preferences and project needs. Then, by using her design training and expertise, she is able to work her magic and create a unique space that typically exceeds her client’s expectations.

G Contracting did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen, first floor bathroom, and living room. The workmen were not only excellent at their craft, but they were also personable. They arrived on time almost every day and if there was a delay I received a text message explaining the delay and when to expect the workers arrival. The projects moved according to a predetermined schedule, which I received ahead of time. The workmen are very skilled in their craft. While I did not seek a competitive quote, the cost was very reasonable. The appearance of the final product looks better than I had expected. I will continue to use G Contracting for future projects.

The crew worked diligently and professionally. The work was completed on schedule and exceeded expectations. I fully intend to have them do whatever projects need doing.

The men were professional, personable, and extremely talented. The finished result looks like it is original to the house. I couldn’t be happier with the work or the crew. They do a great job of cleaning up after themselves, too.

I trust Jonathan and his crew implicitly. I was out of the country during the project so I simply gave them a key to the house. When I got back the house was perfectly clean and the job was beyond expectations. I am currently planning further projects and fully plan to have Jonathan and his crew as an integral part of them.

I couldn’t be happier. He and his crew are the ultimate professionals. Not only are they very good at what they do, they are also easy to get along with, cooperative, and considerate. In other words, gentlemen. They even clean up after themselves. If asked them to help with other projects since then and they always exceed expectations. As a matter of fact, I have just asked for their help again.

beyond terrible. he is a liar, extremely rude, damages property and tries to work without a permit. he was used through Lowes which is just as bad a company as him as they refuse to answer any questions or problem solve any of the problems with him. do yourself the biggest favor ever and avoid him and lowes at all costs.

He said he would call me with the estimate in a couple of days. I never heard from him. I called a week later during business hours. His wife took my info and said he'd call me. Never heard from him. I called again a week later during business hours and got voice mail, so I just hung up.

Excellent until the last part of construction. I requested that some of the framing be redone, as they had framed right up against my above ground pool and created pool safety and maintenance hazards. THEY REFUSED.

This initial contract was with Lowes. Another contractor was supposed to have performed the work. This never happened. Instead G Contracting was handeling the install. This install wassupposed to hav been completed by 7/31/15. I never met Jonathan until 7/17/15. When I met him I was extremely irate with the deck install. He was exceptional. He got the permit swithched and the ball rolling. His crew was outstanding. The deck was completed and it is beautiful. I definetly will use this company again and recommend them to all my friends. I have the deck of my dreams and I could not be happier..

In the fall of 2014 we met with a couple contractors about a remodel of our main bathroom which was stuck in the `80's and made worse by the previous owners when they tried a remodel.  Due to cost of the project, we decided to work with Lowes since we could finance the project and this bathroom needed work badly.  After review of the design and setting up the time, the fist contractor and his crew started the work the week before Thanksgiving and promised they could have the job before the holiday since the room was not larger and we weren't changing any floor plans except remove a soffit and a half wall, install new floor tile and tile surround for the tub, new tub and new vanity top.  To help keep costs down, we did some of the base demo work that we could manage and did the painting of the ceiling and walls.
The job seemed to start well, but as time went on, the crew began making some mistakes with the layout of the tile, bad craftsmanship in the install tile and grout, and many other items which as the project proceeded we found we had to make them correct.  During the work we had made these items aware to Lowes and their project manager did her best to try to keep us happy. In the end, when the project was "complete", which occurred 2 days AFTER thanksgiving and our family stressed over the whole experience we reviewed the work in detail and made many notes and took many pictures of the poor work quality including a cracked tub which was then sent to Lowes to describe our dissatisfaction.
Lowes made good on this issue by offering to have the work corrected at no extra cost to us, and they brought in G Contracting. Jonathan and the project manager came out to review the remodel and he made us aware of what he can and would be able to do to make us happy, he made no promises he could not keep, he and his crew lived up to those promises and went beyond our expectations.  Even though the bathroom was still the same design, materials and color, his crew made a huge noicable difference  to us and our family just in the quality of the work they performed.
I cannot recommend enough to give this company a chance to provide a service they offer.  I also would recommend if you go with the big box stores to finance your project, you should definitely request this company.

The crew was very neat and professional. They were careful to protect other parts of the home from any stray materials. Extra care was taken to ensure the material matched exactly in color and texture to adjoining surfaces. Too the time to ensure the repair was done correctly which included adding a new expansion joint in the expansive area of stucco. The work was done on time and on budget. Owner was onsite and provided ongoing updates on the progress. Highly satisfied.

I had a really good experience with G Contracting. I would absolutely use them again. I have already referred them to several of my friends and neighbors as a result of their work. I have had many contractors over the years, but the service level I experienced was second to none. They really take pride in their work. We had damage due to the severe winter we experienced, which caused the need for replacing of dry wall, painting and even replacing the damaged linoleum floor with new tile flooring. I was very pleased with their work and I will continue to recommend them.

The entire project went very well, despite the unforseen problems; for example, rotted window and door frames.
No matter what problem came up these guys had the expertise and know how to resolve the situation and keep the job moving. 
I know I would not have had this comfort to care for these un forseen issues with another contractor.

I have to say the professionalism and customer satisfaction is outstanding. I called for an estimate for my fence. Im a single mom I know nothing about this stuff in fact I was leary and wasn't sure how much this stuff costs. I called fence companies and they wanted 3x the price for what this wonderful company did it for. I wasn't sure how G handled these small jobs. They were use to big contracting jobs. But he assured me no job was to small. Who says that these days This company made me feel totally relaxed. I got a price set a date and no surprise of extra cost nothing. Guys were there early said it would be done in a day and it was. A beautiful job it was. So I called again for a painting of the shed. Same experience...went to work that morning came home to a beautifully painted shed by only one of his guys. Professionalism and customer satisfaction omg yes.Will I be using them again. You can bet on it. In need of flooring on my next agenda. Well done G CONTRACTING
