*10% discount for first time customers!* Our vision is to make you part of our family . The company name - Jeoah Electric - not only represents the names of our family members (Juan, Erwin, Owen, Aura, and Holbert) but also represents our hopes in developing a bond as strong as family with you, our customer. We hope and strive to be the best in our field. Like your doctor who takes care of your well being, and your lawyer who protects your assets, we at Jeoah Electric seek to protect your home. WE WANT TO BE YOUR ELECTRICIAN!!

"Jeoah Elec added a 30 amp circuit for an electric heater and changed the wiring connection for another existing circuit that a previous contractor used contrary to specified plans. The work was done efficiently and courteously. These guys enjoy their work and were happy to explain each step of the installation and rewiring process. I was impressed with the safety precautions they took--no hot wiring or other time-saving short cuts that some experienced electricians take--but capped all open line wiring for future use, turned off circuit breakers when making connections, and taped shut the circuit breakers for the wiring that was not yet connected to a fixture. The only shortcoming I encountered was that, despite my specific quote request for adding a 30-amp circuit, they arrived with no 30-amp breaker in their truck and had to make a trip to get one. This was a small job, but they were happy to do it. I would not hesitate to engage Jeoah Elec for any future elec work, large or small."

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

Many ceiling fan mounts feature a design that can accommodate slight slopes by using a ball joint mechanism at the end of the downrod. If your ceiling has a steeper slope than your fan allows for, you can install a downrod that will allow your fan to safely hang below the slope.

Fans not turning on, wobbling, noisy motors, or faulty remote controls are common issues requiring repair.

It is relatively rare for a ceiling fan to fall. A properly installed ceiling fan is attached firmly to a ceiling joist. Even if the fan is wobbling, it’s unlikely to fall down. However, you should promptly repair your fan when you notice wobbling or imbalance just to be safe.

There are several types of ceiling fans, each with their own purpose or advantage. A standard ceiling fan works for most spaces, but low-profile ceiling fans are better suited to rooms with low ceilings. You can also find ceiling fans with lights, energy-efficient ceiling fans, and retractable blade ceiling fans.

If the fan doesn’t have a switch, connect the white wire from the ceiling to the white wire from the fan; connect the green wire to the ground wire; connect both black wires; and connect both blue wires. If yours has a switch, the white and green wires are connected the same way. However, connect the ceiling’s red wire to the light’s black wire and the ceiling’s black wire to the fan’s black wire.
