DISGUSTED, NOT PLEASED, UNHAPPY, UNSATISFIED AND DISSAPPOINTED! These words barely describe our feelings towards Slagel Roofing Company. We would never recommend this company to anyone. Here are the facts: 1. In July 2015 my 89 year old father-in-law contracted with them to replace the roof on his home in Charleroi, PA. He eventually paid them $16,500. 2. The work was completed on July 31, 2015. We have records of two Payments. 3. NOAA rainfall records show that there was no rainfall for the month of August in 2015. 4. It did rain on September 10, 2015 ( 41 days after the installation). At that time Dad contacted them about water leaking into his dining room, causing extensive damage to the plasterd ceiling and walls. 5. Again on September 28, 2015 Dad had to recontact them about additional leaks in his study, kitchen, foyer, family room and living room. 6. Dad kept detailed hand written notes recording his efforts to get Slagel Roofing Company to fix the leaks and repair the interior damage. 7. Slagel roofing never fixed the water damage in the interior of the house. To make matters worse Dad died in June of 2020, and now Mom is stuck. 8. Meanwhile, We have had two professional roofers inspect the roof and both have opined the work around the dormers needs to be re-done.

Excellent crew, on time and no hassles! Everything we asked for was done and then some. Would absolutely hire Slagle again!

Did a great job

During the course of this project, I came in contact with multiple Slagle Roofing employees - estimator, owner, installers and etc.. To say the least, everyone was extremely helpful, patient, hardworking and friendly. Due to their workload, it took them a few months to actually perform the installation/repair work. This is actually a good sign. It tells you that they are busy and knows what they are doing. We encountered some serious leakage problems while we waiting for the instillation date to come. I brought this to owner's attention, and he was able to dispatch his team to perform repair work at no additional cost. He was kind enough to send people a few times to put a bandage until the installation/repair work can be done. I can't thank them him enough for helping us during those times. I highly recommend everyone to call Slagle Roofing for roof installation and repair.

Arrived on time everyday they were professional and very polite (George's crew) and very hard workers...they did everything that was supposed to be done...and even wiped down my flashing on our home.They worked constantly from the time they came at 7a til 9p. (Its so hard to find hard workers these days.) They replaced rotted wood on roof. Placed new shingles and then the gutter and rainspout crew came (Eds crew) Very prompt and friendly. They did and excellent job they even touch up my flashing by spraying it. It looks so nice. Last but not least Ben Fisher the Rep was very kind to make sure all my needs were met. I would recommend Slagle for any home improvement. Thank you for a job well done.....Gloria Coffey P.S. There was a tear in my one window screens from the work. We were extremely pleased with the outstanding service and attention to our requests from Ben Fischer and the gang at  Slagle Roofing. Since this is not our primary residence we had to find a competent roofing company that would communicate with us long distance and be able to schedule the construction while we were visiting for a week in July.

Ben made good on his promise, and the roofing crew showed up Monday at 7am and worked till 8pm. Jorge, Luis, Sean , etc.worked diligently during 90 degree heat and wasps. The sight was kept clean and we were always kept aware of any problems like boards that needed replaced. Since my husband is a contractor in Florida he monitored their work and felt comfortable in discussing any areas that needed additional attention. Ben kept in contact with us throughout the day and came out at the end of each day to make sure we were happy with the work and was great!

They also used the plans we drafted to create a roof gable even though they are not carpenters they did a great job. The crew was very easy to deal with. The roof took two days to replace.

A different crew( Dave, Eddie, and Nate) came in to replace the fascia and install gutters and downspouts. Another great crew that were attentive to what we wanted. We asked that a gutter was redirected to pour into a rain barrel and they were gracious in accommodating us. Each day both crews continually asked if we were pleased with the work. They seemed to understand that the customer's satisfaction is what really matters, in the end.

When it was all done our 60 year old house looked amazing and my father, who still lives there and did not want to see the roof changed, was very pleased with the results and thanked us .

They gave me a schedule and stuck to it. The staff was very courteous. I will recommend them to others.

They worked every day until the project was complete.  They were very friendly and professional.  They cleaned up after themselves.  The gutters and soffit and fascia look great.  I would definitely use them again.

The supplies had arrived prior to the scheduled date as I was advised.  Rain had been a major issue, but everything was covered.  The first day they had hoped to do the job, it rained. However, the next day the crew arrived bright and early and got right to work. They were careful to removed items from the porch they needed to use and to cover my shrubs. They were courteous and worked very hard. I don't think they ever stopped. The foreman (I believe his name was George/Jorge) answered my questions.  I voiced my concerns about the area around the chimney because the previous owner had problems there. He assured my that one of the crew was specifically assigned responsibility for that area for accountability. They continued to work into the evening and were able to complete the job in one day.  The roof looks good and everything appears to be nice and dry.

I called them for a quote based on a direct mail piece I got from them. I had been getting quotes for a new roof and thought I'd throw them into the mix. They came out the day that I called! When Ben the sales guy (the owners son or nephew I believe)  arrived he already had a estimate for me. It was based on the size of my roof that they were able to determine from imaging software they have at their office. This was very impressive.  They had a visual printout of my roof from the software and were able to size and price - based off of their standard shingle product they use.  No hardball selling based on loose estimates of sizing, etc. Ben was very courteous and easy going. 
He was honest about scheduling (although it did take a couple more week to get here than originally anticipated) but weather did play a big part in that. Pricing was very fair and the workers were courteous. 
 My only criticism is that I found about 4 nails in my driveway after they were done, but I have a large roof and large driveway and feel that was minor considering the amount of material they took off and replaced.
In all they really did a super job.

They went above and beyond on by doing some additional work at no cost. He was up front with me and made sure that everything was as it should have been. I found them to be extremely professional

I had called many local companys to come and give me an estimate on roof repair - was very frustrated due to the fact that many did not even return my call.( these were highly recomended on Angies list)  My guess being that when hearing my message that this was a repair job instead of a need for an entire new roof these companysd felt it was not worth their time.  When I called this company a very nice lady Brittany told me the owner would call me back - he did shortly.  He told me that his crew was extreamly busy but he would sent someone out later in the day to evaluate the problem.  Matt showed up in the afternoon - said the problem was a hole in one of the shingles due to a nail that had lifted - I had some shingles in my garage and he was able to make the repair.  He was also kind enough to put back a flu for a gas stove that the wind had blown off.  He was very nice and professional.

They do residential and commercial roofs, and the scale of their commercial projects gives them an advanced training.  I've had many contractors in the past, and none of them came close to the quality of this company.  The workers were extremely courteous and pleasant to work with.  It's a first-class company, from start to finish.  They weren't the cheapest, but with the craftsmanship and materials used it was completely worth it.
