"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

Stone Masters inc is a stone fabrication showroom and factory. We fabricate and install countertops, vanities, fireplaces, tub surrounds and bars made from Granite, Soapstone, Quartz and Marble. Our showroom features over 500 stone slabs, sinks, faucets and tile for backsplash.

"The quality of their work and materials is great! I had a kitchen countertop upgrade to granite. Karlene, my salesperson, was prompt and helpful. The templating and digital slab layouby Alan and Brandon were outstanding. Daniel and Matt did a beautiful install job along with Jose who made the top be as smooth as could be. Sarah was quick to schedule and adjust this complicated project. Doc says 'woof'."

"Hess Contractors is the absolute best! We hired Ken and his crew to complete a 300 sf living room addition. The process was smooth from start to finish and we could not be happier with the final product. We had previously worked with Ken on a bathroom remodel, so we were already aware of his high level of professionalism and the outstanding quality of his work. Ken is honest, reliable, and talented. It is so rare to find a contractor that you can actually trust and we were comforted knowing Ken was on the job. Everyone who sees our addition is so impressed by how amazing it looks! Hess Contractors is transforming our home and we can’t wait to work with them again!"

Appliancezone.com is a leading on-line retailer of appliance parts and accessories for do-it-yourself homeowners. Incorporated in 2008, it was started by CEO, Jim Allen and his wife Paula, who operated an appliance repair business for nearly fourteen years prior to starting the internet company Appliance Zone.

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

Dehumidifiers typically use 300 to 700 watts of electricity per hour, whereas portable dehumidifiers use about 40 watts per hour. The exact amount of electricity your dehumidifier will generate depends on its capacity and energy efficiency. Generally, higher-capacity dehumidifiers generate more electricity than lower-capacity units, but they also usually have better energy efficiency over the long run.

The magnetron, which is the component that generates the microwave energy used to heat your food, is the most likely piece to cause your appliance to fail. Unfortunately, your microwave won’t serve any purpose without a functioning magnetron, so not only is this the most common repair, but it’s also the most important.

Repairing a broken magnetron usually costs between $100 and $200 or $175 on average. About half of that cost goes toward labor, and the other half is for a new magnetron. Higher-end microwaves may demand larger or more complex components, which could increase your repair cost.

Usually, a kitchenette does not have a stove. But if you have the space, you could add a small stove. If you choose to install a stove, you’ll also need to add an exhaust fan. You can expect to pay an average price of $750 to install an exhaust fan. That’s why you'll commonly see kitchenettes with countertop hotplates instead.

The magnetron and the transformer are typically the most expensive parts of a microwave. Replacing a magnetron can cost anywhere between $100 and $200, depending on the make and model of the microwave, and replacing a transformer costs between $100 and $300. When these parts fail, it’s often preferred to simply replace the microwave entirely.

Maintenance includes regular filter cleaning, checking water connections, and ensuring that the unit operates at optimal efficiency without blockages.
