They look brand new and match perfectly with the cabinet boxes. Also, in regards to our basement, he brought a paint representative to examine our flooring since it had been sealed before incorrectly by a basement sealing company. He sealed our basement floor and it looks great."

If you’re using a low- to no-VOC paint in a room with good ventilation, it’s generally safe to sleep in the room once the paint is dry. For other kinds of paint, give the VOCs a few days to dissipate before sleeping in the room.

You can certainly paint vinyl baseboards, but you may want to consider why you would. Vinyl baseboards are not very expensive, and if you’re considering painting baseboards over 5 years old, you may want to consider simply replacing them with a color you like—there is an enormous range of color options for this material, and replacement won’t cost too much more than painting them.
