The installers said they would be channeling under the step and walls, which are only 2 1/2 inch walls. The last step was also a simple channel as well. More time consuming perhaps, when you charge $3000.00 more than another contractor, homeowners are believing they are getting a professional job! They cut her stair runner instead of peeling it back so it could be glued back down. she needs replace whole runner now and company could care less including there estimator! sheetrock replacement also more expensive because took a hammer to the walls instead of saw zall,nice straight lines! also have photos."
