"John Cooper has been my HVAC contractor now for several years. In May he installed a Navien tankless water heater in the crawl space of my home. First of all his quote was several hundred dollars less than anyone else and what was totally unexpected was he and his helper disconnected and removed the current electric tank water heater. His work is impeccable and his pricing is realistic. He is my go to guy!"

"Mark did an outstanding job. He was very professional, neat and knowledgable with what had to be done to fix my Gas Fireplace. He was on time, communicated with me about arrival time. I will be hiring Mark to do other HVHC work for me. I would highly recommend using Air Heads HVHC for any indues your having."

"Mark said it would take three weeks and that is exactly how long it took to redo the kitchen. We love everything about it. He was very easy to work with, he worked with us on everything. Easy to talk to and would also there when he said he would be."

"We cannot say enough great things about Joe, Jose, & their team! We had 2 moves within the last 3 months & they handled each of them exceptionally. They were courteous, polite, professional, organized, careful, & by the end of the day you feel as though you've known them forever. There was not even another choice when we needed to move again. They took great care of our items and always made sure we were ok as well. We even had a what could have been a disastrous plumbing issue in our brand new home as we were moving in and Joe and Jose sprang into action to help us out. It's service that you just don't find any more! Awesome job!!"

Nest Installation questions, answered by experts

Spiders are not typically attracted to bedding as a primary source of food or shelter, but they sometimes inadvertently end up there. Spiders can hitch a ride on your clothing, belongings, or through open windows and doors. The underside of a bed, especially if it's near a wall or corner, can provide such a sheltered spot where they can hide and build webs. Dust and clutter under your bed can create ideal hiding places as well. If your room has other insects like flies or mosquitoes, spiders may be drawn to the area in search of prey.

Regular lawn care keeps snakes away because it eliminates common hiding places. You can deter snakes by trimming grass, shrubs, and trees and removing weeds from your lawn and gardens. Clear away leaves and other debris that could serve as a potential snake habitat. You can also seal entry points around building perimeters and install metal snake fencing.

The same heat treatment that’s effective on flea eggs will also destroy the adults. There are four stages of the flea life cycle—egg, larva, pupa, and adult—and you’ll have to keep all of them in mind when taking on a pest infestation in your home.

The best way to permanently get rid of skunks is by setting up deterrents around your property to keep skunks out. Get rid of skunks permanently by:

  • Not leaving food or water outside

  • Installing a motion-sensor sprinkler system

  • Installing fencing that’s at least 3 feet high and a foot deep

  • Adding motion-sensor lights in the yard

  • Cleaning up brush, sticks, woodpiles, and leaves on your property so skunks can’t use the materials for a nest

  • Seal up cracks and holes around your property to prevent skunks from building a den

  • Placing fresh lemon peels around the perimeter of your home

Yes, mulch can attract pests. Spiders, centipedes, and ants are some common pests that are attracted to mulch. You can avoid infestation by laying your bags of mulch in the heat for a few hours or by using an inorganic mulch, as it’s less attractive to pests.
