"due to severe hot weather and lots of rain, I needed quick response as insects were in the attic and we could hear them 24/7. Called couple places and went with Greenix because price was more reasonable than other places, and Kyle explained on the phone what could and could not be done in great detail and answered all my questions for an hour. We have lived in our house for 40 years and every 10 years or so, we need to get a pest control in quickly. Kyle checked with the various satellite sites of technicians and found someone to come out the very next day in the morning which seems to be unheard of these days with businesses.
We went with the 1yr service because the insects we have sometimes need more than 1 trip to eradicate them, plus the visits were unlimited if we still had the same problem, but don't expect that. Scheduled visits every quarter are what we wanted as we live next to the woods and our back yard is where the woods begin, so we wanted insect protection year round."

"Resolution Pest was very good. I spoke to the owner on the phone. He told me what to expect and then the cost of a treatment plan if it was necessary. An employee came to the house on the designated day. He did not come during the allotted window of time, he came much later in the day. But, he did arrive. He assessed the house, looked at the perimeter and the deck. He did not see any evidence of carpenter ants entering the house. However as a precaution, he treated the baseboards in the basement and the main level. He also found spiders in dark damp areas of the home. He commented that spiders are indicative of other insects. Then he treated those areas for insects. He was helpful and appeared forthright. He did not encourage starting a treatment plan. But rather, did the one treatment and made his other suggestions. Overall, it went well and the treatment has been effective."
"Responded to my job posting in less than 5 minutes, set up a treatment in less than a day, and will follow up with another treatment in two weeks. The price quoted was fair, communication was excellent, the service was 5 star, and I would highly recommend Today's Pest Solutions to anyone with pest control needs."
To our horror we found bed bugs in our home. I travel for work, so I've had co-workers who have had this issue and I've heard them go-on about how terrible it is and how the exterminator takes advantage of your situation and hits you with all sorts of expensive treatments and they don't even always work. I'm happy to say that isn't the case with JML. They provided a very affordable treatment that really works! John was very knowledgable and explained everything very well. I also appreciated his confidence in getting rid of our pests if we stayed aggressive with the plan and procedures he set out for us. It wasn't a great situation, but it was a great experience working with JML. I highly recommend JML for any pest control services you my have.
No, ground bees are not detrimental to the health of your lawn. In fact, the small holes created by ground bees can actually offer beneficial aeration which moisturizes and nourishes the ground. Additionally, ground bees are highly regarded as vital pollinators, meaning they help plants to reproduce. Unless you’re battling a severe infestation, leaving ground bees undisturbed can boost the health of your yard and the environment.
Using rat poison in your crawl space can be risky. While it may kill rats, they can die in hard-to-reach places, causing foul odors and attracting other pests. Yikes. Moreover, secondary poisoning can happen to pets if they consume poisoned rats. If you decide to use poison, consult a local exterminator for guidance to ensure safety and effectiveness.
You will need to discuss with your pest control expert to know when and what to clean after the treatment. Sometimes, you may have to wait a couple of weeks for deep cleaning to avoid wiping up the treatment they applied.
However, you’ll want to wipe down any surfaces you use for food prep and eating. Before the treatment, you’ll also want to make sure that items such as pet dishes and children's toys won’t be exposed to the chemicals.
Moisture issues caused by leaky pipes, improper drainage, and poor airflow create environments that are ideal for termites to thrive in. Dampwood termites prefer water-damaged wood while subterranean termites require moist environments to survive. Climate can have an impact as well, with termites preferring to live in warm and humid climates with mild temperatures year-round. However, termites are present in every state in the United States, with the exception of Alaska.
A bowl of vinegar will not kill fleas and acts only as a repellent. To get rid of fleas, you can create a homemade flea trap or buy flea traps from a local hardware store. Consistent trapping and meticulous cleaning will help eliminate fleas before they become an infestation. If you have a moderate to severe flea infestation, you’ll likely need the help of a local flea control specialist.
