"Wonderful experience! I'm thrilled with the quality of products and workmanship. I was hoping for a new storm and interior door only. Because of their financing options, I was also able to get 3 new windows upstairs and a beautiful new bow window in my living room (a window I thought I'd never be able to afford!). I no longer need towels to block the drafty windows nor "draft-dodgers" at my door. As a "Golden Girl", I'm a tough sell, because I can't afford to treat myself to better quality items. However, I now realize that what I thought was a "good" window installed about 10 years ago is actually junk, after comparing the quality of the products. While watching the various snow storms during the past few weeks, I wondered why I was hearing the wind blowing in my living room. It didn't take long to realize that the sounds were come through the "good" windows at the side of my house that were NOT installed by Green Eco. I went outside and looked at the "good" window, after seeing the outside of the new windows that were installed upstairs by Green Eco. YUCK! What a difference! Everything I was told by the salesperson is true. Seeing and learning about the sample products I was shown made me a believer that their products are definitely worth the expense. All of their products have a Lifetime Guarantee, so I know they'll be just as perfect long after I'm gone! My upstairs bedroom is warmer now than it ever was. I'm truly amazed at the difference. My 6-panel bow window was installed on 12/16/20 - the day we were expecting a snowstorm. The installers refused to let that stop them, and they drove away in dark blizzard conditions, as I stared out my beautiful window with tears in my eyes. I never thought I'd live long enough to ever afford to have that window replaced (before it fell out!). The crew was so professional and hard-working, I even made them lunch! The craftsmanship of the carpentry is excellent. I've even decided to use a clearcoat on the woodwork, instead of the usual white paint around the window. It looks amazing! My interior door is white on the inside, but those who see my house are welcomed by a beautiful country blue door on the outside, along with my new high quality storm door. The "Rain" design of the glass in the door is mesmerizing in the sunlight. As the most honest person some people might ever care to meet, you can trust me. Green Eco's products might seem a bit pricey compared to others you might contact, but the difference in the end result is well worth it. Yes, I have a monthly payment plan, buy this bill I can pay with a smile. The total cost of my happiness is about half of what I was quoted for only a "good" bow window within the last 15 years. "First off they are probably a great company.  I just feel a need to speak about their approach.  Had I known from the reviews the manner in which they do business, I would not have called them because I needed more than a salesperson before I laid down this much money.
A gentleman came out and quickly measured our home for siding and windows and then brought a plethora of stuff into our home to discuss the estimate.  He asked us what our needs were for our 25 year old fairly average built house.  We said we wanted to do it once and we wanted energy efficiency.
He proceeded to demonstrate "his" top of the line window and other windows that of course were not up to his.  This took at least an hour.  At the point he got out the heat lamp, we asked him to stop because we were satisfied with the quality of the window.
He then moved onto siding and showed us his top of the line siding that has the molded Styrofoam behind it.  He showed us the colors and asked us which one.  At this point in the process we had not narrowed down our color choices yet and he seemed utterly annoyed by that.
He then gave us a quote written on yellow tablet paper that was VERY high.  We said flat out "no."  We asked him if he had more mid-range products.  He said yes but tried to steer us away from them.  We explained that although we understood that the products he was selling were high quality and probably worth the money they cost,  they were overkill in a home like ours.  Reluctantly he gave a quote for the mid range products that was about $5000 cheaper.  Then he had to make a phone call.  After the phone call which was made within our earshot seemingly on purpose suddenly the price was about $5000 cheaper than that on both the high and mid range items.  That number was now within range of our other quotes.
These tactics are used by numerous companies in this industry.  I am not faulting it or calling it wrong but for us we were not comfortable.  There were some issues with our home that were unique to this home that he could not address being only a salesperson and yet I needed to know how they were going to be addressed before moving forward. He didn't really get to know our home.  For example we already had Styrofoam underneath our siding so we certainly didn't need another layer, but he never looked to find out.  Bottom line if you know what you want and need or just simply want new windows or siding and will just take whatever,  they will do that for you and help you feel good about what you are getting.  I do believe their products are good. But if you want help figuring out your needs you will need to find a contractor who gets down and dirty and does the actual work.

"We searched around and contacted 3 different providers, looking for replacement windows and doors for our cabin in the Poconos. We felt that AJ Window and Doors provided the best solution for our request. We had 4 specialty windows replaced in the cathedral wall, added 2 thin windows, one on each side of the fireplace, both old and leaky French doors to the deck replaced and all sliders replaced. What a great decision. The work was done quickly and efficiently and they cleaned up spotlessly when done. The windows are super, we go up to the cabin and it can be 90 degrees outside, we walk in the house and it’s about 72. We don’t have air-conditioning it’s just the efficiency of the windows. The tint is barely noticeable but extremely effective. We were so impressed with the quality and the service we reached out to them and asked if they would come down to our full time house and give us an estimate on windows. Yup. The price was really good so we had them do the windows too. We now have brand new windows and very old siding. Well, we did, we reached out to them a third time and got a quote on siding, accepted it and they did that too. Let me tell you about this siding; it has a foam backing and is extremely thick, you can lean on it and it doesn’t waver, you can look down the side of the house and you do not see the standard “rippling” that you normally see with vinyl siding. The house looks great, people comment on it all the time. All three estimates, and the work was done by the same sales rep and work crew. Derek W. did a great job explaining the windows and siding, James led the work crews and made sure the work was done properly and the crew cleaned up when finished.
