"I hired University Painters to paint the exterior of my house. They actually gave me a quote in January 2022 and honored that quote in the summer of 2023. The house had not been painted since the 90's so you can imagine the paint chips when they power washed the house. They picked up most of the paint chips (Yes!). We also had a couple of bushes that needed trimming so they could reach the house. They took care of this. Overall we were very pleased with their work and would definitely hire them again."

Eggshell and satin finishes are best for porches because they sit in the sweet spot between scuffable matte and distracting high gloss. It's okay to walk on a newly painted deck after about four to six hours as long as the weather has been dry. Be sure to wait at least 24 hours before you place any outdoor furniture or grills on a freshly painted deck, though.
