His work is always A++++ We have done extensive work to the exterior (front and side entry) as well as an oak timbered porch. He, along with his son Tyler framed and tiled a full mud room with gorgeous custom bar. He has also sanded floors, built custom shelving, replaced all stair railings, built a custom bar, the list goes on! His knowledge of material is unparalleled. "Serge was great! First, he came out and gave us an estimate within a few days. We had several others provide estimates but we chose Cozy Home, and I am glad we did. His price was the best; we felt the others were really overpriced for the kind of job it was. He was very easy to work with, and quickly responsive to communication - a real bonus! Our porch looks great. We plan to hire him for our next project."

"The end result was a finished basement and that s about the only positive. We had poor communication and poor service. We never knew when someone would be showing up to do work or how long it would take. We were not consulted about some decisions made (like bathroom and light fixtures, etc.). When the wrong tile was installed on the bathroom floor, we were asked to take it up ourselves (instead of having someone come out to do it or deal with the aftermath the next day). The owner was hardly ever on-site to monitor progress and ensure everything was correct, especially at the end. It took weeks longer than expected. Our entire project was put on hold in the middle of everything while waiting for our preferred floor tiles to come in from Home Depot... all to find out later that they were available at the local store (which we discovered on our own and were then asked to call the store to verify). The quality of the final product was meh. The price was right, but we definitely don t feel like we got a good value for what we paid."

"Arius is a life saver... literally. I had just purchased a new home and was having some renovations done. Simple as they may have seemed, it involved moving a door in the hallway a few feet. Had I not called Arius in for a review, the contractor I had hired (who was a great GC and very professional to deal with by the way) would have made a grave error which would have resulted in major structural integrity failure costing tens of thousands of dollars to repair. "Chris and his two sons did an amazing job on remodeling my basement into a playroom for my twin boys. They were very sweet, made me feel comfortable and also were very good with my two toddler boys. The moment they came to my house to do an estimate, i felt very comfortable around them and they were very friendly and threw out ideas on the remodel, like lighting and other ideas. They finished the job in less than 30 days (which was the timeline given) and they were very patient with me when i had changed my mind on certain things. Chris even played with my boys and had conversations with me, so I felt like they were more family than strangers working on my house. They did an excellent job on the remodel and everything turned out better than I had envisioned it. They were always on time and always cleaned up each day after they were done.
