We loved working with Sy builders. Very professional and gave nice insights to make our basement looks beautiful. For some like us who were new to construction/ remodeling , they were very flexible and accommodative as well as gave timely feedback. Lastly and more importantly we had kids and were very happy with the punctuality and time bound completion. The communication was clear which helped Finally and more importantly the pricing was very reasonable.

Sy Builders could not have done a better job from start to finish. Everything was done with professionalism, extreme precision and with the customer in mind at all times. Sy and his team certainly made any bumps in the road easy to handle with consistent lines of communication between all parties. Trouble shooting was made easy and the entire project was completed with flawlessness and excellence. Myself and my family could not have been happier with Sy Builders and the finished product. This was not my first rodeo of dealing with builders. Many say a lot of things. A few key takeaways regarding Sy Builders; they stand by their work, they strive for excellence at all times, and Sy is ALWAYS available for communication regarding any and all issues. My house needed major work troughout and they finished all of the house, which allowed me to sell it in just a coulpe of days. Everything sparkled and the work quality was 5 stars. I cannot say enough good things about the experience. He did all the work, took care of everything in about 7 weeks, and I am very happy with the sale result. He knows the market, so that increased the value for almost about $200,000. Really good design troughout.

Sy builders did an excellent job in the bedroom addition extension and our bathroom renovation. Careful attention to detail and did the job thoroughly and efficiently. I hired him to finish my basement. We had some argue while he was working on my basement but the result is good and my my overall expectation met. As a customer who hired him, I will hire him again and recommend him to everyone as well. He answer his phone anytime, anywhere which is a positive point for the people in this business. Also he stand for his job and will fix any issues for you. All you need just ask him and don t leave it on him since he is super busy.

We are very happy with the whole experience, this is the second time we hired Sy builders, the first time we use them for basement renovation a few years back. Simon is always on time-efficient and professional. The workmanship is excellent. Management and planning are great. Yes, we recommended Sy builders.

DO NOT HIRE THIS HACK!!! I have a long list of complaints against Syed from Sy Builders. He does NO actual construction work himself and subcontracts everything out to unprofessional subs. He promised the entire renovation project would take 6 months at the most, but it is still unfinished after more than a year. My family and I have been living out of boxes and bags at a family member's home for months. Every deadline was never met and he always blames it on his subs (whom he hired). He is rarely at the job site to oversee his subs and ensure the work they are doing is correct. After I got an independent home inspection and a township inspection, they found various code violations, fire and safety hazards with the electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc. I will have to pay someone else to fix these issues and finish the job since Syed and his subs are being uncooperative... Do yourself a favor and find a more qualified contractor that actually knows what they are doing.

The end result was a finished basement and that s about the only positive. We had poor communication and poor service. We never knew when someone would be showing up to do work or how long it would take. We were not consulted about some decisions made (like bathroom and light fixtures, etc.). When the wrong tile was installed on the bathroom floor, we were asked to take it up ourselves (instead of having someone come out to do it or deal with the aftermath the next day). The owner was hardly ever on-site to monitor progress and ensure everything was correct, especially at the end. It took weeks longer than expected. Our entire project was put on hold in the middle of everything while waiting for our preferred floor tiles to come in from Home Depot... all to find out later that they were available at the local store (which we discovered on our own and were then asked to call the store to verify). The quality of the final product was meh. The price was right, but we definitely don t feel like we got a good value for what we paid.
