The easiest way to handle extra-wet cement is to pour it, let it harden, and then recycle it using one of the methods above. You can also crush it down and sell it for base materials, although this can be pretty time-consuming. Your best bet is to start with less concrete than you need and make more as you go to avoid this problem.

You can technically install a chain link fence without any concrete. However, your fence will be less stable and more likely to shift or lean over time. 

Instead, try setting the terminal, gate, and corner posts with concrete and filling the line post holes with dirt. You’ll build a stable foundation without spending all afternoon mixing concrete.

Generally speaking, adding concrete landscaping features will cause your property taxes to increase. That’s because projects that involve a permanent concrete foundation require permits and permanently improve the land. Since taxes are based on improvements, your taxes will go up.
