"I do not recommend BHI Construction. The owner sent his crew, but midway through the job we noticed serious quality and construction issues. We contacted the owner, who came out with two others, agreed the work was sub-standard, and said the problems would be fixed. After they left, several issues were still unresolved. Since then, he has not responded to calls or texts. We have photos and documentation of the problems. "

"William was supposed to power wash and paint and waterproof my basement entrance. I paid him upfront several weeks had went by, and he kept giving me excuses that he had family issues. He would say I?ll be over in a few days and never showed. I finally had to tell him I was going to take legal action for to return my money. It?s sad because he does decent work, however I?ll never recommend or use him again."

"Mike did an excellent job in repairing my 30+ year old deck by removing all deck boards, railings and stair stringers and installed all new PT lumber. In addition, he replaced all joist hangers. I am very pleased with how the deck turned out."

"Dusty and his crew did an amazing job with our deck, replacing an old (and lesser quality) plastic ceiling with his more durable and beautiful aluminum system. Dusty was incredibly responsive, giving us detailed quotes in person and via email. Once his crew was able to reopen for work (he was temporarily closed during the COVID-19 closures), they immediately came out and completed our large deck project in a single day! The attention to detail that Dusty and his crew are capable of is impressive - they were able to make the patio under deck even more usable by expanding the coverage of the ceiling, moving the drainage and downspouts to a better location, and installing a soffit to the outer portion of the deck that not only looks great but also keeps birds and other critters from getting in. Overall, we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended!"

"I supposedly won their contest at the State College Home Show 2022 for $1200 certificate. Rep came out and knew nothing about giving me the prize I won. Should have seen this as red flag. Window and entry door replaced anyway. Like the window. BUT, the door has major air draft coming in down the side and across the bottom. Have been calling repeatedly for 2 months leaving multiple messages- no return call since back in October. Company sent me letter 11/30 and called me that evening trying to get me to hire them to do more work. Assured me they would send someone to correct problem with initial work. Still have not received phone call or service visit from anyone in this company. Don't enter their contests at Home shows- I think they use this as way to get into your home to sell you their company when you haven't really won anything. and don't hire them to do any work. They will not fix any problems!!"

"U Pick Pro Painting did an amazing job painting our deck. Our deck was a peeling mess. They power washed, sanded it and applied 2 coats of paint. They even replaced one of the boards that was rotting. Looks like new. They were very professional, friendly, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were finished. Recommend them to anyone who is looking for someone to do painting. We will definitely use them again."
