"I regret giving over $80k to this contractor. Jim, Chase and all others did shotty work in my home and now their work needs to be redone by a professional. Even after things stopped working I called them back and no one came out or contacted me to fix it. My window frames and baseboards were installed improperly as well as my electrical. My flooring is lifting and new stairs installed weren’t even nailed in properly, my husband nearly broke his hip on the stairs. I wish I could take it all back and never would’ve trust them."

"I called and was told the repair would cost $300, and that?s what I paid. He did try changing the price on arrival to $400 Same day: Service was completed and I left the technician the full payment?all agreed over the phone beforehand. Arrival: No call ahead?they arrived almost 4 hours past the timeframe I was given. Failure: After working a few times, the key stopped functioning about two weeks later due to the battery. I drive maybe four times a week. Follow?up: Upon reaching out again, I explained the problem?but when I challenged any implied fault or vacancy, his tone became dismissive and very unprofessional. He is one of the only locksmith around unless you find one on facebook marketplace. Not to many other option. He did send $25.00 back for a replacement of a key. "

You may be able to get a broken key out of a lock by yourself, depending on the situation. Over time, latch components may wear out or get grimy, leading to this problem. First, check for dirt, dust, or debris in the latch mechanism to ensure smooth operation. Use an aerosol duster and lubricant to clean and loosen. You may also need to tighten the screws in the component, adjust the strike plate, or replace the lock. If none of these steps resolve the problem, consult a professional locksmith.

One of the best tools for removing a stripped bolt is a handy pair of locking pliers. Locking pliers can usually grip onto screws with a broken, rounded, or stripped head and lock in place so that you can loosen even the most stubborn bolt that would otherwise remain hopelessly jammed.
