We do not service automotive whatsoever. In business since 1946, we are a family owned and operated third generation company that you can trust and depend upon. If it's on a door, we service it. Our certified technicians are background checked and drug screened. We employ only the best professionals because our customers expect the best service at competitive pricing. We care about our customers and we know how important customers are to our success. We embrace innovation and technology. Our technicians are equipped with mobile devices, and locksmith vans are maintained with state of the art equipment, inventory, and GPS tracking. When your technician is on his way, you will receive either an e-mail, text, or phone call along with their picture, credentials, and an estimated arrival time. Your complete satisfaction is our goal.

24 hour emergency service company serving northeastern Pennsylvania and the Poconos. Lockouts, car key replacement, installations, repairs, security systems and more

"I called and was told the repair would cost $300, and that?s what I paid. He did try changing the price on arrival to $400 Same day: Service was completed and I left the technician the full payment?all agreed over the phone beforehand. Arrival: No call ahead?they arrived almost 4 hours past the timeframe I was given. Failure: After working a few times, the key stopped functioning about two weeks later due to the battery. I drive maybe four times a week. Follow?up: Upon reaching out again, I explained the problem?but when I challenged any implied fault or vacancy, his tone became dismissive and very unprofessional. He is one of the only locksmith around unless you find one on facebook marketplace. Not to many other option. He did send $25.00 back for a replacement of a key. "

Guaranteed work, professional workmanship, 4 employees, I do subcontracting, billing procedures, 1/2 up front and balance when job completed. Free estimates, fast, prompt and courteous service.

"I regret giving over $80k to this contractor. Jim, Chase and all others did shotty work in my home and now their work needs to be redone by a professional. Even after things stopped working I called them back and no one came out or contacted me to fix it. My window frames and baseboards were installed improperly as well as my electrical. My flooring is lifting and new stairs installed weren’t even nailed in properly, my husband nearly broke his hip on the stairs. I wish I could take it all back and never would’ve trust them."

Locksmiths questions, answered by experts

A door lock service is performed by a professional locksmith, and the cost of hiring a locksmith for these kinds of repair tasks usually runs in the $100 to $250 range. It all depends on the type of locks you have, how many locks are included in the service, and where your home is located. Always choose reliable, trustworthy locksmiths, and get a few quotes before making your choice.

You may be able to get a broken key out of a lock by yourself, depending on the situation. If a portion of the key is still protruding from your lock, try lubricating the keyway and using pliers or even a bobby pin to pull the key out of the hole. If you have jigsaw blades handy, you can also try using those to grab onto the stuck key and pull it out.

But, if neither option works or you can’t reach the key, your only option is to call a locksmith for help.

There’s no set time limit for when you should replace your locks, but there are several indicators that it’s time to swap them. If you’re moving into a new home or have a roommate moving out, it’s smart to change the locks. If you experience a break-in or other crime, you should change it then too, or if you ever lose your keys. Eventually, locks can wear out, so it’s ideal to replace them after several years of use or one of these circumstances occurs.

The good news is that, yes, you can change locks yourself. Many people find it’s an easy DIY project that requires few tools and not much expense (depending on which lock you’re installing). If you have trouble with any part of an installation, you can always call a locksmith to help finish installing them.

Standard residential deadbolt locks come with a steel bolt that locks your door into place using a key (or keypad) on one side and a thumb turn on the other. When you lock it, the bolt slides into a strike plate on your door jamb to secure your door shut.
