We are a small group of crafstmen practicing the art of custom masonry. Our goal is to create one-of-a kind works of stone and mortar which defy replication.

"After a number of years of using this company for various chimney needs on two 100 year old fireplaces we are done. Their prices are very high and advice has spotty resulting in redo’s (at our expense) on numerous occasions, still, we hung in there. THEN the latest issue was a faulty damper that they had installed a few years ago. Constant problems ensued, requiring multiple service calls every year. The latest came two days after the last $800, chimney cleaning when the damper once again stuck then finally opened only half way. I asked for a final resolution as this could not continue. The response by the owner Mr. Beckthorn, was condescending , accusatory, rude and insulting, as if he was talking to a petulant child. He further informed me that if MY attitude didn't improve he was going to tell us to find another contractor. His final comment “if you have a real solution then propose it, otherwise, let me work”. I did .. and fired him - I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY."

We didn't check the drawing completely to the detail that was probably needed, but he was an easy person to work with - did work per the design he submitted, gave intermittent quote on items that came up that weren't in the original quote. Will hire him again, his quote estimate came in the middle of the curve with the majority of the folks we asked for quotes as well- not too steep and not the cheapest.
