Anthony Traeger (Owner of Traeger Plastering) has been in the plastering business since 1992. He believes that the key to a happy customer is to treat each job as if it's his own. This attitude leads to the highest quality work with affordable prices and the cleanest job possible.

You can get cheap and good but you can't get fast. These guys did a great job, took them I think 7 days total for a fair price. Tony recommended skip trowel. Said I'm not sure man. Took me into his house to show me and I was sold. Said make my house half as good as this and I'll be satisfied. He came in with Justin and Jeff and just knocked it out. Professionals. If I was in the house flipping business I would have these guys on speed dial."

For orange peel or knockdown finishes, use a spray texture product or a thinned joint compound applied with a roller or sponge. Practice on scrap drywall or cardboard first. Damp plaster does dry out, although the drying time depends on several factors, including the type of plaster, the surrounding temperature, moisture content, and the extent of the dampness. Sometimes, it can take weeks or months for wall plaster to dry naturally.

You can apply plaster over plaster, but before you do, check the stability of the existing plaster. If it’s been there for a while, it may require a base coat of PVA emulsion. This will make the existing plaster less porous and ensure the new and old plaster adhere properly.
