"As a homeowner I'm always very skeptical when dealing with contractors. Not so, with Central PA Soft Water. This is a family owned and run business and the team is very professional from the appointment setup, contacting you the day before your appointment to confirm, to contacting you the day of the appointment letting you know when they will arrive. Matt showed up on-time and did a great job of assessing my current outdated system that I came to find out was not installed properly. He did a thorough job of running a whole series of tests on my well water and advised that my water was hard. I decided upon his recommendation to install a softener. I also decided to install a new sediment filter, and pre-sediment spindown, as well as a carbon filter. Matt and Jason showed up on-time on the install day. They are both very knowledgeable and take great pride in what they do. I'm extremely happy with the finished product. The new setup runs great and my water is clean and soft. "It was an easy fix. Provider came out at 7PM on a Friday night. It was a simple matter of adjusting the gas valve on the water tank, with instruction to put vents on the closet doors where the unit was housed. Although I questioned the service tech about a new water  heater, he assured me it was not necessary.  I know of other companies who would have jumped on that opportunity to make an unnecessary sale, so I can't say enough how much I appreciated the honesty!

"Hot water heater not working, Ethan and Kevin came out when they said they would and fixed the problem at a very reasonable rate. They were very efficient, polite, showed the bad parts that were removed. Also cleaned up before leaving. Will hire again."

"The yearly service works out to be $50 a month. We've had two water heaters replaced through them because of a fault in them. They're usually very responsive. I like that I can request the service online. The only thing is, I wish that there was a better avenue for emergency services. If something doesn't work right away usually it takes a couple of days to get someone out and sometimes you can't wait two days without water."
