"We are delighted with the work Total Home Solution performed on our house.  They installed an in-law suite in our basement, complete with bathroom, full kitchen, bedroom, office, and remodeled laundry area.  When meeting with contractors for estimates, Tom seemed the most clued in to the needs of older adults, and even made points I had never thought of despite my being a nurse.  He was very careful to keep everything within the original budgeted estimate as much as possible, which allowed us to expand the project as we went along in the process.  We chose to do the painting ourselves to save money, and they left us with extra spackle, a sander, and paint fan, even though they didn't have to.
I also have to extend my thanks to the lead on the project, Chris.  I could hear them working from upstairs, and one of the subcontractors was a little, shall we say, salty.  Chris remained totally professional, and got all the workers to come together to get the job done right.  Lastly, but most important of all, was his humanity and kindness.  My father passed away unexpectedly the week before construction was to begin, and the funeral was out of town.  As part of our contract, we were supposed to have all furniture and personal belongings removed from the construction area prior to work beginning.  We got home after midnight the night before, and Chris and his team arrived at 7am.  We had not moved any items, and even though we broke the terms of the contract, Chris stepped up and moved everything himself.  He was so kind, and did everything he could so we would not have to worry about anything during a difficult time.  He was also very responsive throughout the project, and even immediately answered emails I sent 9:30 at night the day after he got married!  
We had such a wonderful experience I would highly recommend Tom and Chris to anyone looking to do work on their home, and will call on them for any future home renovation needs.
*Note: I did give them a "B" for responsiveness because they were a little slow in the beginning, but as per other reviews, they had some people out and were running short staffed in November/December.  We chose to begin the project after the New Year and it was smooth sailing after that.

"After looking around for couple of months & being tired of doing so, we finally nailed down on the Basic Basement Companies for our basement finishing project and boy was it a great decision or what! We did not want a cookie-cutter design & wanted it done our way with the highest degree of quality but also in a quick time frame. I must mention here that they checked all the boxes & more...they were really top-notch through the entire gig! We started the project in Feb 2020 but had to stop soon due to the COVID-19 situation. From scheduling their crew to come in per my accelerated request to scheduling the inspections, she was a one-stop-shop for anything & everything. - Finally Bob, the Project Manager. He is probably the smoothest operator I have come across & ensures his customers understand every step of the process and works with his customers until they are satisfied. One other key thing that I'd like to call out is that they have different teams for different kinds of work (that helps with the expertise & precision of every job) but everyone came with the required PPE to ensure safety during these unprecedented times. I highly recommend Basic Basement Companies for any remodeling projects that anyone might want to do in their respective homes."

"We are thrilled with the renovation of our basement. Dan, the project manager, organized and oversaw the subcontractors so that no time was lost during the renovation. We were amazed that a project of this size was completed in 4 weeks given that they had to demolish an existing basement from the 1970s. Mario, the main carpenter, was pleasant, a talented and hard worker ,and could picture and execute solutions to complicated design issues posed by the existing systems of our house. "We hired Henry and his crew to do a full kitchen re-do, which they did on time and on budget, even with some unforeseen obstacles. The crew leader, Roman, was very ingenious at coming up with simple solutions to what could have been difficult problems. The crew didn't speak much English, which was a little problem sometimes but was dealt with. We did most of our design work with another company, which was good because Henry's design software is rather ancient and presents odd perspectives. It did mean that we had to reconcile the other company's cabinet sizes vs the company that Henry uses, but that was doable too. In all, we love the new kitchen and layout which is much more workable than the old one."
