Snyder is a self-employed Professional Engineer, company of 1 person, who is networked with other qualified designers, engineers, and construction professionals. “PLANS PAYMENT” – Construction Plans are provided on either a “Fixed Fee” or “Not to Exceed Time & Expense” basis, payable in three (3) installments; 1/3 due at “Contract Signing”, 1/3 due at “Planning / Design Review”, 1/3 (or balance) due at “Delivery of Completed Plans”. “DESIGN/BUILD” – “SUB-CONTRACTING” and “PAYMENT”: LABOR – Construction Labor is bid by a minimum of three (3) Sub-contractors; all Bids are reviewed and presented to the Building Owner with recommendation on the “Lowest Qualifying Bid”; the Bid is awarded (Sub-contracted) to the contractor preferred by the Building Owner. MATERIALS – Quotes for all Construction Materials are obtained from a minimum of three (3) suppliers; all Quotes are reviewed and presented to the Building Owner with recommendation on best “Supplier”; Material Purchase Orders are awarded to the supplier preferred by the Building Owner.
