Dan came out to my home on the day I called and gave me an estimate.  The men from Musser's came to my home the next day and removed the tree.  They were all very nice and friendly.  They cleaned up the area very well and took away all of the debris.

They came out and cut down trees for me. I would highly recommend them.

I have used Musser's before, they are always very professional and do a great job. Dan is great, he has helped me take care of the trees I have without trying to sell me on services I don't need. He is very responsive to any questions or requests that I make and his crew are always professional, do a great job and clean up the work site really well. Would highly recommend.

We had a very large, dead blue spruce in our back yard that was located between our electric wire and our TV cable. Because it was in the back yard, they could not bring in their cherry picker, so they had to climb the tree, cutting off branches as they climbed. Once they reached the top, they were able to cut it down in short sections, which had to be carefully dropped between the wires. They then ground out the stump. All was done very nicely. I elected to dispose of the stump grindings myself to save a little money. That turned out to be a difficult job that I probably should have had them handle.
Next they trimmed the dead branches off of two large honeylocust trees, which are also located in our back yard. Again, not being able to use a cherry picker, they had to climb the trees. They had to be careful of the electric and cable wires when working on one of the trees. Working up in the trees they did a great job of getting to the dead wood and removing it. Locust is a hard and heavy wood, but they handled it easily.
They were careful not to damage the trees or the yard. Everyone on the crew was very pleasant. They cleaned up the yard, hauled everything out to the street, chipped it up and hauled it away. I felt that all of them, from the owner, Dan Musser, on down was very safety-conscious as well, which is extremely important in their business.
I initially used Musser's Tree Service several months earlier after I had fired another and quot;tree serviceand quot; mid job. I had hired a contractor to trim dead branches off of two large pin oaks in our front yard. Their crew was butchering the first tree and I finally had to step in and stop them. Musser's Tree Service was then recommended to me by a friend. Dan came and did what he could to clean up the damage done to the first tree and did a very nice job on the second. After he had done such a good job for us in the front yard, we arranged to have him take care of the problems in the back.
