"Services performed 06/13/2020. Early on a Saturday there was no heat in master bath sink hot water and we assumed it was the water heater. Bucci & son (the son & his helper to be exact) had been out to clean our drains two days earlier on 06/11/2020 (see my separate review for that) and we were so pleased I called them again thinking the thermostat on the water heater was bad because it was a relatively new water heater. It was a Saturday but Bob again sent his son that afternoon. It turns out he traced it to a minor problem at the sink and refused to charge me or take payment of any type. It has been a long time since I have experienced this type of quality customer service that used to be standard business practice and wanted to Bob, his Son & their Helper know how appreciated it is. I will refer them whenever possible and will request their services in the future when needed."

"Had a problem with one GFI plug in lower level, when it tripped it took out the power in all four bathrooms as well as garage. We called Ray late Friday afternoon. Saturday morning he returned call. He took the time to explain what he could do and quoted his cost. 30 minutes later he was at our door. 2 hours later he was finished and we no longer have a problem. In this day and age it is very refreshing to have a tradesman respond to a call as quickly as Ray did and have the work completed in a professional manor. When Ray was finished he double checked all he had done and explained in terms that I could understand. That was certainly appreciated. The year warranty was cream on top. I would recommend his services to anybody and have already recommended him to my brother in law for a ceiling fan install.

"I have the most beautiful kitchen ever.  It is a dream to work work in and the workmanship is simply amazing!  
Les and Eric designed amazing work space and Tim provided almost artistry in his installation.  There is not one thing that has come loose or was uneven - it was so worth all of the effort and the wait!
I will say this - it took longer than I had anticipated and with three kids in the house - that was hard.  But when it was done?  Oh my - so gorgeous and wonderful!

"James came from Ohio to do a few projects for our non-profit organization. We have staffed residential homes for adults with intellectual disabilities throughout the South Hills area. We recently purchased a newer home for one of our houses, because our residents are aging and need a more accessible home. James and his teammate helped us with that. They helped install some handrails, installed a bathroom vent, closed off an old dining room into a bedroom, installed a split unit, and tore out a tub and installed a huge linen closet in its place. They were very professional through the whole process and we will be using them for many similar projects in the near future. Highly recommended!"

"I can't praise the workers highly enough. Everything was professionally done. The entire area was cleaned at the end of each day. They made every effort to minimize disruption to my use of the spaces. One day there was a wind storm and a piece of fascia on my neighbor's house came loose and was flapping against the house. The neighbors were out of town. Bob Marburger, the manager on the project was able to pull the fascia down. He did it without any consideration of how he might get paid for his time. In fact, when my neighbor asked him how much he was charging for the fix; Bob told him to forget it. That is an excellent example of the type of person Rick Horn hires. On more than one occasion, they took my garbage to the curb or did other things that helped me out but were unrelated to their project. I have already hired them for another project. Their prices are fair--not the lowest or the highest; but the quality you will get for that fair price is excellent. Rick Horn Construction gets my highest recommendation with no reservation."

The installers were terrific very nice, professional and took great care our home. They even let the dog out!! :) The owner was very knowledgeable as well as the estimator who came out first too. "This was the second time we hired Willis. He did such a nice job on our kitchen three years ago, so we did not hesitate to hire him again. The job is done and we are very pleased with the results. We started with just a shower. We wanted to make it bigger and use the extra space we had. But we ended up remodeling the entire bathroom: bathtub, new sinks, painting. Willis was very patient with us and as always offered very nice ideas. It felt like he knew better than we did what we wanted our bathroom to look like. What was really nice is that he and his crew always cleaned up after they finish their work. This was very important to us as we have kids and they are all over the place. Given all the circumstances, the remodeling took much longer than we expected it to be, but we were willing to wait. It takes time to do the job properly."
