"These guys are not only pros—they are true gutter artisans. After a decidedly frustrating experience with previous roofers, who were at best sloppy but in any case showed no pride in work, working with Ryan Hankey and Always Perfect Contracting has been a breath of fresh air. The work was a challenging replacement of a decayed and rotting box gutter on a circa 1850s historic home on a steep hillside with 36 stairs. There was no way to save the box gutter. Ryan and his team of Jeff and Dino worked long days in high heat and humidity to get the job done in two days. Not only did they replace the gutter, they remediated some of the sloppiness perpetrated by previous roofers at no extra cost. I got three bids on this project, and although Always Perfect Contracting was not the cheapest, the level of craftsmanship more than warranted the price differential. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough—7 stars (out of 5)."

"Dave was prompt, professional and detail oriented. The 20x40' area (roughly 3.5' deep) had to be removed from my yard and Dave made sure to minimize impact as much as possible. The finished work has a slight grade away from my house which has helped reduce water flow toward my basement. Dave is busy (good people are) and I do recommend being patient setting up the first site visit and quote. The wait is worth it."

"Sean and Dave are true craftsmen they are polite, honest, and pay close attention to detail. I was referred to him from my mother-in-law who he built a beautiful set of multi tier stairs for. Sean went over every step of the build asked for my input, listened to my opinions, helped me envision the project, accommodated a few of my needs and finished the job thoroughly before the quoted deadline. Me and my wife are so happy! Robertson Home Renovations went well beyond our expectations. It is a surreal feeling to have our dream deck completed in a weekend and at a reasonable price. "Price and Vaughn agreed to pick up an exterior painting and carpentry job that had already been contracted to someone who failed to perform at the high level of quality that had been promised. We were impressed with their eye for detail, the professional business manner, their treatment of their employees, and the overall outstanding end product. "Called, spoke to Janet and scheduled a gutter cleaning, agreeing to pay their $100/hr one-hour minimum to have my gutters cleaned --- all two (2) of them. Straight lines, one front and one back, each with one (1) downspout on the end. Couldn't be an easier job. I did it myself last year but, at age 75, don't like climbing extension ladders any more. Took them all of 20 minutes, with one guy climbing and one holding the ladder. That night, we got a heavy downpour and the back gutter overflowed everywhere. Called them. Janet said they would come back the following week and take a look but said it's probably "holes in the downspout", needing repair. Say what? The weather report was calling for flash flooding the next day so I climbed up there myself and found (surprise!) a big pile of twigs and dry leaves blocking the downspout, which I quickly and easily removed (see attached pics showing before and after I cleared the blockage). I called Janet back to cancel the return trip and indicated that I would be willing to accept a partial refund if offered. Janet ignored that suggestion and stated that the blockage must have formed after they did the job (8 hours?). Sounds to me like part of their MO --- i.e. they come back and report that the gutters and/or downspouts have failed and need to be replaced. As if $300/hour wasn't enough. AVOID!!!"

"If you are considering a kitchen/bathroom remodel please read this review. Our kitchen renovation project was started on May 7th. We are now on the cusp of entering the 5th month for this project and our kitchen is still not completed. To make matters worse I haven’t seen ANYONE from Brookside for a MONTH! We had sent an email to the construction manager and never received a response. The sad thing is that this was an ongoing experience during our remodel. They would work for a couple of days and then I wouldn’t see nor hear from anyone for a week +. (This happened way more then we would have expected). The only way I got them to show up was to continually call. I would have to call repeatedly to get my microwave hooked up. I would have to repeat the process to make sure someone was going to hookup our stove, plumbing, etc. I’ve paid 60K so far and I had to be a pseudo project manager! I now have my existing hardware floor cracking because we have been waiting for Brookside to finish the floor with a transition piece. I still have live wires exposed and holes still left in the wall. FOUR months and I still do not have all of my appliances hooked up in my kitchen. Cabinets that came in damaged still have not been replaced. It pains me to write this review but I honestly don’t know what to do at this point. This project has totally been mismanaged and communication has been nonexistent! I will say that the workers who have performed the work have been good to work with. The cabinets that we ordered we are happy with and Classic Rock, who performed the fabrication for the granite did an AWESOME job! (We did not have a conventional layout). If Brookside would have completed this project in a reasonable time frame (I was originally told they would be finished around the 4th of July) then I would have had a much more positive experience."
