Shearer Fencing

We had tried getting estimates from a few other companies and met Mark when he was installing a fence in our neighbor's yard. He came and gave us a good estimate and we signed a contract with him later that day. He asked for partial payment of $4750.00 for materials. He finished the neighbor's job a few days later and was supposed to start our job by 10/31. We called and he said that he was tied up and would be there in a few days. There has been excuse on top of excuse, including his wife being ill. He has been a no show on three separate occasions. It is now December and not a finger has been lifted to start the project. However, he cashed the check almost immediately.
We since found out, from our neighbor, that Mark was working for Affordable Fence and our neighbor had not hired Shearer Fencing. If we had known that, we would have approached Affordable Fence for the job, and not Mark as an individual.
