Our company was founded by personnel with years of experience with other major pest control providers. We wanted to provide superior service at an affordable cost, and established Rapid Response Pest Control in 2025. We realized that the cost of replacing our valued customers far exceeds the cost to provide exceptional service.\n\nWe are experts at dealing with roaches, bed bugs, mice, rats, bees, wasps hornets, yellow jackets and more. Some emergency services available; please call 717-210-7000 for assistance. \n\nNOTE: Reviews for other companies that we have no connection to are showing up on our profile, dating back several years. Rapid Response Pest Control was established in 2025.

"They do our pest control. Whole service package for my home. Pet-safe stuff inside, and exterior chemical treatment. We checked around and they had the best price. They are great to work with, I have already recommended them."

"The mice are definitely eating from the stations. We have seen a lot of evidence of them eating and have found several dead mice. The problem seems to be under control now although we are still having treatments so we are not quite out of the woods yet. The company is extremely responsive and the price seems very reasonable.

"For some reason I had an red ant problem in my kitchen. I tried everything. Archer came in and took care of the problem. He also gave me a 30 day warranty. For $50 for him to jump right in and service my home was pleasing to me. He was very pleasant and nice. He was easy to work with. He tried hard to mesh our schedules for the service. He made a point to come this morning when I was available. He could have put me off til next week so it impressed me he made the appointment work for today. I am very happy with Archer Pest Control. I thought his price was very reasonable. In addition he came out of his way to service me. Everything he moved and took out of place he returned to the proper location. He also gave me other ideas of things to try on my own if the problem continues."

Bird Control questions, answered by experts

You’ll want to call a licensed and insured wildlife removal company that offers:

  • Full property inspection—indoor and outdoor

  • Proper animal identification

  • Written management plan with follow-up visits included

  • Humane removal techniques

  • Preventative exclusion measures

If it’s an emergency and you can’t wait, you’ll need to contact an emergency animal control company near you.

Chirping noises, droppings, scratches on the walls, and stains at entries and exits are all signs that you have bats in your house or, more specifically, your attic. Because bats are nocturnal, there’s a chance that bats have already infested your home before you start to see warning signs, so don’t delay if you notice anything. If you see a bat or two at sunrise or sunset near your property, that’s another telltale sign that they could be setting up shop inside your space.

Identifying the specific animal running on your roof at night can be challenging without direct observation. Common nocturnal roof visitors include raccoons, squirrels, opossums, and rats. Raccoons are bigger and can create heavy thumping sounds. Squirrels are agile and may produce rapid scurrying noises. Opossums tend to move stealthily with less noise. Rats can make scratching or gnawing sounds. To determine the culprit, look for signs like footprints, droppings, or damaged areas near the roof. For accurate identification, consult a pest control professional or set up wildlife cameras near potential entry points.

The best animal repellents for gardens include a variety of different scents. You can use predator urine to keep away deer, raccoons, squirrels, and more. The odor will tell the critters that your yard is a dangerous place. Other scents that repel critters are herbs like lavender, geranium, and mint. You can also use hot pepper, garlic, and strong-smelling soap.

No single deterrent will work 100 percent of the time, so we suggest combining deterrents to ensure your seed has the best possible chance to grow. Using bird netting over your seed, with physical deterrents like mylar tape coupled with hanging bird feeders at the edges of your growing area—and removing any bird’s nests, if possible—will give your seeds the best possible chance for success.
