Jim did a second inspection of our house and provided additional information about the work to be done. Jim and Victor did the installation of a new oil-burning furnace and central air-conditioning unit, as well as removing and disposing the old furnace and duct work. It was a professional job from start to finish. We were amazed at the amount of work that needed to be done, but Jim and Victor made it seem effortless. We are so grateful to finally have the central air-conditioning, just in time for the recent heat wave! We hired JP Works based on numerous positive online reviews and we were not disappointed. "Came out for emergency air conditioning service. Had to shut down air conditioning for a night to thaw out the ice that formed around the unit. We had to put up window units though because it was way too hot in the house to sleep. Originally, we were told we might need to replace our entire unit. After I called back stating our current unit was still under warranty, they came back the next day, and remarkably all we needed was a freon top off. Total cost for the 1/2 cup of Freon and initial visit = $300. I will not be using them again."
