"Jerod and Mike completed the renovation/expansion of our new master bathroom. My wife and I are extremely thrilled with the result. The installation team kept us informed of the progress of the project and put in extra effort to make sure the project was completed to the highest standard within the established time frame. We will definitely be requesting bids from Calco for future planned home renovations."

"Chris showed up for the job on time, professional, get the job done within half an hour. In addition, he did not try to sell me other product like the Technician from Montco Rooter Plumbing and Drain tried to ask me to buy their package deals...Overall, it was good experience, but little pricey for 1/2 hour work for clearing the clog for a yard drain."

Small jobs welcome

"Incredible job. I first called one of those well advertised plumbers and got a quote of 11,000 to replace a well pump and pressure tank. I called JLF who came right out with the materials to make the repair and came in at $2000. It pays to shop around for an honest company and JLF is one of the good guys. JLF has my business going forward."

"Outstanding experience with Home One, covering our master bathroom/master bedroom renovation and complete basement refinishing including a spa installation. The entire team was professional, responsive and easy to work with from beginning to end. Communication was excellent throughout the project as they kept us informed every step of the way about material delivery dates, planned daily work schedules, and subcontractor coordination. They used top-quality subcontractors for plumbing, flooring, fixtures and electrical. The team made great suggestions for materials and style choices as well, which made a use difference in the end product. The price was fair and the final cost stayed very close to the original estimate despite the large time and material scope of the project. The workmanship exceeded our expectations. We plan to use them again for an upcoming project, and highly recommend them."

"Installers took out the old tub, re-did the plumbing and installed a low threshold shower. The guys were friendly, professional, got the job done in one day, and even vacuumed before they left. Thanks West Shore!"

"Contractors did an immaculate job. I am very satisfied. Price was fair. Contractors were on time each day,and left no walls unfinished. Worked until sunlight was gone and even worked pass that time in the rain. Everyone was so nice and understanding from Scheduler Dawn to InspectorJosh,Plumber Lenny,Lorenzo and his Laborers and Electrician. Even had the pleasure of meeting the owner Dan who came to make sure I was happy with the work. They put me at ease."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

While you can complete this task if you have some DIY knowledge, it is recommended that you hire a plumber to ensure that the work is done correctly and safely. This is especially true if a new water line needs to by installed from scratch, as this process requires cutting into pipes or walls.

No, your toilet tank should not empty completely when you flush. Although the water level will dip a lot after you flush, it shouldn’t be totally empty. If your tank is empty, you might have issues with your fill valve, float ball, or toilet trip lever. You should check all of your toilet parts to ensure they’re working correctly and make any necessary adjustments.

Whether or not a power-flush toilet is worth it depends on your toilet needs and your budget. If your bathroom sees a lot of use or you’re concerned about the toilet clogging, then a power-flush toilet may be the right choice. You should also check the pressure requirements to make sure your system can handle the necessary requirements.

Some of the most common bathroom leaks include showers, sinks, and toilets. Most homeowners discover these leaks because of the chronic dripping sound faucets and showers make as water drips to the ground, but a leaky toilet will often appear as a puddle. Inspect your bathroom faucets, showers, and toilets every month to detect leaks quickly.

Wall-mounted faucets aren’t more difficult to fix than traditional ones, but plumbing problems will complicate your repair. If your plumber needs to access the plumbing lines, they’ll have to open up the wall in your bathroom or kitchen. So once they finish fixing the issues, like a leak, you’ll need to pay extra for drywall repairs.
