He communicated on when the team would be there a few days after I accepted his proposal. His team arrived as they said they would. Took out 5 trees, grounded the stumps down and trimmed other trees. They were fantastic, friendly and cleaned everything up perfectly. Highly recommend. "

He also followed us to our new home in a different county and did timely repairs and topped our stone chimney and acid washed the stone fireplace inside. "My parents have an in-ground pool and over the years new homes were built behind their house. The new houses changed how the rain runoff comes through their backyard. It actually caused mud to pour into the pool TWICE and costs $3000 each time to empty,clean,and refill the pool. I called multiple landscape/drainage pros for estimates and either they quoted a ridiculously high price or never called back. I found Tom on Angi and he came and looked right away. His quote was very reasonable and he didn’t seem too worried about it. He and his team showed up when they said they would and knocked the project out in 2 days! ( I work construction and thought it would be at least double the time.) They excavated the dirt around the edge of the pool and added a deep layer of river rock plus created a vertical paver wall to ensure the water wouldn’t get in the pool. They also used the removed dirt to create a berm in the backyard to further redirect water. They covered the berm in wildflower seed and straw. Overall, everybody is ecstatic with how they fixed our problem. 100% professional quality. His guys worked non stop and they cleaned up after the job was done. I highly recommend using Tom and his team."

"Buyer beware! I have been reaching out to Matt and his company about the job he never finished or fixed for over a year now. I?ve reached out through text, phone calls and email and he just ignores me. About a week after he claimed to be finished the job the stamped concrete he put down started cracking and chipping all over. The stain he put down also started lifting off the concrete. He never cleaned the stain or concrete off my pool liner, fence or lamp posts. When I initially reached out about the cracks and other various issues he asked for pictures and said he would come out to redo the concrete pads with all the problems and fix the other issues. He set a date to come but then when that date would come near and I?d confirm he was coming out he would cancel and reschedule for various reasons such as poor weather causing him to be behind on jobs, multiple employees quitting or not having the appropriate tools available to do the job. At this point legal action is my next course."

"My wife and I just had Oakland give us a quote, plan and then install, pour, a 8.5 cubic yard patio after removing the trex deck that it was time to retire around our inground pool. After removal of the deck it was discovered that there was electrical work that needed to be rerun to our pool pump house and a Jacuzzi we were replacing. This they had no problem incorporating into the job without batting an eye. Communication was good. And from the plan, to scheduling, to actually accomplishing the task, considering the bad weather we were having, everything was done professionally, and on time in spite of whatever obstacles were thrown in the way. The crew was professional and courteous, and went out of their way to protect all that was necessary around what they were doing. They went out of their way to meticulously clean up the job and ensure everything was to our complete satisfaction before calling it done. All was done in a timely manner in spite of the atrocious weather they had to work around and through in getting it finished. My wife and I could not be happier with the job, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have concrete work done for any reason."
