I'm Tom DiPhillipo. I’ve been a landscaper since I was a teen, first as an employee and then as an owner operator. My wife, Sharon and I began this business in 2001. After decades of experience and many hundreds of satisfied Lehigh Valley customers, I'm confident our experienced and diverse team can help make your landscaping dreams come true. My parents have an in-ground pool and over the years new homes were built behind their house. The new houses changed how the rain runoff comes through their backyard. It actually caused mud to pour into the pool TWICE and costs $3000 each time to empty,clean,and refill the pool. I called multiple landscape/drainage pros for estimates and either they quoted a ridiculously high price or never called back. I found Tom on Angi and he came and looked right away. His quote was very reasonable and he didn’t seem too worried about it. He and his team showed up when they said they would and knocked the project out in 2 days! ( I work construction and thought it would be at least double the time.) They excavated the dirt around the edge of the pool and added a deep layer of river rock plus created a vertical paver wall to ensure the water wouldn’t get in the pool. They also used the removed dirt to create a berm in the backyard to further redirect water. They covered the berm in wildflower seed and straw. Overall, everybody is ecstatic with how they fixed our problem. 100% professional quality. His guys worked non stop and they cleaned up after the job was done. I highly recommend using Tom and his team.

Tom did our property last year….the entire property, from tearing up a poorly done yard by Kay Builders and completely replacing with it new sod, to building us a wonderful stone patio with lighted block seating walls. They also provided all the landscaping, putting dozens of trees and bushes, replaced a poorly done sidewalk and made a new one out of the same stone from our patio. Tom and his crew were timely, communicated with us readily and their work was top notch….so much so that we were literally the talk of our new development. As such, I believe Tom did at least four projects in our new neighborhood as a result of the fantastic work he did with ours Fast forward to this year - two of our tress didn’t last through the winter a medium sized blue spruce and a an arborvitae…. Tom cam out yesterday and replaced them under warranty. Fantastic work, a great, great man who does exactly what he says he’s going to do. We would hire Tom and his crew in a heartbeat. Do so and you won’t be disappointed

DiPhillipo's did 2 projects for us - one in front yard and one in back yard. Both jobs turned out great. Tom, the owner, was easy to work with and his crew of workers were very polite, professional and courteous. Would definitely hirer them again.

At first, everything was fine. Tom's crew was professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job. However, after the work was done there was what appeared to be a layer of the white sand used between the bricks stuck to the top of them as well, which could not be brushed off. Tom came by and we agreed that I would powerwash the bricks and he would have his guys resand. I powerwashed and let him know Sept 14 that it was done. No response. Texted a week later, and he got back to me to let me know he'd be there soon, but he had had some health problems. I certainly understood. Six weeks later I had still not heard anything. On October 27th, I texted to see where things stood. Today, November 14, I still have not gotten a response. Communication is not Tom's long suit, it seems, and we're left in the dark. I wish I didn't have to leave this kind of review, because I consider him a good person who does good work. But none of that matters when the job remains undone and you don't know where things stand.

Not too good. Surprisingly, the quality and workmanship were lacking - as also indifferent customer service. It was pointed out. He agreed to send someone back - the wait continued again...once or twice people came before 2019 late fall, but again things got overlooked, or the right person was not there to take care of it?? So I talked to him again in 2020...then June rolled around. We walked around and saw all the unfinished work and some new ones needed to be completed and he gave me an estimate, that I agreed to. After weeks, and weeks of waiting a crew showed up on August 19th! They rushed through and again left work incomplete, some shoddy, and a broken light. I have paid him - but have no confidence to have him back again to get things to where they ought to have been to begin with.

I could list all of the extras we provided for you all of the hours we spent at no charge to you the times you had us come out again to fix things things not of our making or to change things that were correct but you didn’t like. We did so because it was important to us that you be satisfied. I agree there were things done poorly: a badly done cleanup a tree we forgot to trim a bead of sand that never got prioritized. I apologize It should never happen and sometimes it does. We came out whenever you called to fix these mistakes. We schedule our jobs in the order taken. I said it would be at least 4 weeks. It became 6/7 weeks due to weather and clients adding more work on the job. In all we’ve been at your home 7/8 times. I really did try to make it right for you. It went wonderful. From start to finish everyone on the job were so respectful. The job went smoothly. We had pick someone earlier this summer but they didn’t seem to be to interested in doing the job. So I called DiPhillipo’s and we’re so happy we did. Job went great. One employee quit on the spot but work was still completed but took a little more time to correct items the employee failed to do. The work is finished and I really am enjoying my new patio area. I would highly recommend this company.

When Tom came to review the project he immediately explained how he would recommend taking the wall down and filling in the space with stone, replacing wall with pavers, capping off the top and filling in with blacktop to run into the drive area. This is the way I would have done it if I were capable at this stage in my life. The crew he sent was very professional and cleaned up the area very well. We had a time working with the weather but no mater what questions I asked he always answered as soon as he could. Very pleased with the man and his professionalism.

Initially , it was ok. Most of the plants which were planted died despite watering. He promised that he will replant them this year. I have called him 20 times, he promised initially and then backed off to his promise. I was planning hardscaping job worth $ 30,000 and am so glad not going with him. I would not recommend him for any landscaping workup. Horrible experience. Get work from him at your own risk.

"I had replaced 2 or 3 shrubs that died while they were still under a 90 day warranty as allotted by my company and the nursery. Shrubs that die 15 months after being planted are not my responsibility. Any plant that dies after the 90 day warranty is due to lack of care/ watering by the homeowner or natures conditions, not the health of installed plant. I was willing to replace the shrubs as a bonus if we were going to do a large hardscaping job for the gentleman. However spending many hours with this gentleman including 3 or 4 trips meeting at his home, writing 2 estimates, and scope of the job changing several times no contract for work ever resulted."
