First of all, Eric and Charles, owners, both do estimates and they came on time, with Caleb. They said the both of them go to all jobs. When getting the french drain started, they noticed water leaking from another of those cheap copper pipes. They told us then that we would not need the sump pump system. Then they said they would try and repair the pipe. How many companies would really do these things? They said our water problem should be resolved, but if not to call them. "Prior to moving into our house about 10 years ago, the previous owners had used Advanced Basement Solutions to have an internal french drain, sump pump and vapor barrier installed. As it had been about 10 years which is the average life of a sump pump, we decided it was time to have things checked out. Called and lady who answered was very polite, she actually got my information so the lifetime warranty could be transferred over to us and then said we could schedule a "Healthy Basement Check" and said what all that entailed. She said she would have to check scheduling and get back to me. I got a call back the next day and scheduled it for the following week and gave me a 2 hour window of when they would be out. On the day of the appointment, Chris showed up promptly and I showed him downstairs, he looked everything over and we worked to run a test on the pump which had no issues. He did recommend a high water sensor which said I could pick up myself and did recommend a dehumidifier as we did have a bit higher humidity. He answered all of our questions and we even walked around outside as he saw a couple spot inside with a little dampness and gave us some tips and things to keep an eye on. Best part is I was educated on how the pump works and what to do in the event of an issue and had peace of mind knowing that when it does go, the first pump replacement was covered so the money I spent for the checkup was worth it"

"Ehhh. Most of the job they completed seems fine. We have not had any major issues yet. There is still one smaller issue they have yet to resolve. I reached out and the owner said he would let us know when they could send someone but it has been several weeks now and we have not heard from them. The biggest issue has been communication, which is awful! When we initially met with with owner, he seemed great. He was down to earth and explained things well. After they started there was zero communication. We had no idea what was going on. Suddenly they stopped coming. They did not tell us they were done or explain anything about the new sump pump they installed. We were avoiding parts of the house they had closed off and we were keeping our animals locked in rooms for a few days without them showing. I had to call the owner to find out what happened. The workers also somehow got access to my garage through a code which we had never used and did not know. I personally saw someone get into my house that way instead using the front door. When I asked the owner about it, he basically called me a liar. So again although the job seems fine, the experience was not a good one. I would not use them again."
