After struggling with various contractors who either failed to resolve our water issues or were unprofessional, DJ and his team truly stood out. "Very happy we had Contek repair and remodel our living room. Started with a prompt visit by Corey and a detailed quote shortly after, and we then got on their schedule about 6 weeks later. Job consisted of removing and repairing a large area of the ceiling that was water damaged, removing a 9' picture window and also repairing water damage around that, refinishing that with two smaller double-hung windows, refinishing it all inside and outside, and lastly converting a standard small doored closet into an open mudroom closet. Dan managed the job and was nothing but a complete pleasure to work with. Shawn and crew did the vast majority of the work and were also a pleasure to work with. We did have a few finishing items we weren't initially satisfied with, but I'm only saying this because they made it very clear that they wanted us to be COMPLETELY satisfied, and to tell us of any concerns. Dan really went above and beyond here, and he and the crew addressed each of our concerns. It really was a pleasure having the Contek team work on our home, and now we have a living room we can't wait to show off."

Most cement companies will haul away old concrete from your property, but they typically charge extra for the service. Expect to pay as low as $250 for haul-away services or an average of $1,100 to demolish and haul away a concrete landscaping feature. You should also confirm with your company that you want these added services, as they’ll need to bring additional equipment and machinery to dismantle the concrete and relocate it to a disposal site. It’s a good idea to have the concrete company handling the new concrete project do this work to save some money.

To estimate concrete removal costs, determine the area of the concrete by multiplying the width and length. The result will give you the square footage. Then, multiply the square footage by the cost of concrete removal, which is $2 to $6 per square foot for concrete up to 6 inches thick.
